TOTAL MOMA"S BOY!!!!! i think that is taking it a little far, he left his mother in the past once he became Darth Vader and no he doesn't pout when he doesn't get his way....! His lack of patience is part of his charactor and for the independent thing....he killed his master, what would u call that!!?!!!

Agreed.  I don't like slaves to ideology.  Bat Man and Fett are both 'free thinkers'.

and for this post....i agree with this. Even though i just stood up for Vader in the last one. I never said Vader was my hero but i'm not going to let him be backstabbed......Vader is cool, but Boba waaay surpasses him. Indepencence is what makes a good charactor, i totaly agree with you there.

I didn't like Vader until Ep. III, but Evil Anakin was just so cool and so...evil-looking that I couldn't help but love it.  And it's made me more aware of how cool Vader's suit and voice is.  But he's nothing compared to Boba, because Boba has a far superior personality.

Nicely put....it's kinda what i said...little different wording though....made the point real clear... :)

Doesn't pout?  What would you call how he delt with board room pollitics in Episode IV:  "I find your lack of faith disturbing"  as he force chokes the bland little suit dude?  ;)

Truthfully, I found Anakin more the 'pouter'.  It could just be Hayden's acting, but there were some very pouty moements.

And he is first, and foremost a Momma's boy.  His first TRUE taste of the darkside came when the Sandpeople kidnapped and tortured his mother.  He slew the entire camp.  Not that he wasn't justified (I'm all for an eye for an eye).  But, the fact remains, he tapped the dark side because of Smi.

Darth was a way cooler character, but knowing the other side of the story (the Anakin side) rounds him out in an interesting way.

I think the anikan side ruined it for me.  I thought that vader was some mystical guy and we would never really know his past. (like palpatine)  Hayden was the worst actor for a vader i think because he turned vader into a wuss for me

Why can't we just have good ole red and blue spidey with his powers, and right the rest of as a bad dream?

Well i think the new powers and his joining the avengers is cool, and I like how we now discover he can't die, but everything else you mentioned also irritates me, too.

I remember a very long time ago (early to mid 90s I think) and I saw an episode of Superman on tv and in it people thought Clark Kent was Superman and then he was giving this speech and somehow he managed to have Superman come in while he was giving the speech so people could see them standing together so they'd know that they were different people. I forget how that was pulled off though, cause I was a little kid and don't remember what happened next.

Flash has some awesome villians.

Cicada, Girder, and Murmer to name a few.

But Magenta is lame. Am I supposed to feel sorry for her? I don't.

Speaking of super heroes:
"If spider man can do whatever a spider can does that mean he has trouble getting out of the bath?"
"What about his natural fear of newspapers?"
Sorry I just had to add that. I got it from a flash I saw a while back.

Spidey can DO WHAT SPIDERS DO, But he isn't affected by spider issues. He gets the good spider stuff, not the bad.

P.S. I'm a HUGEMONGEROUS Spidey fan.

Also....Power Pack is dumb!

Tremor is a Mortal Kombat character from Mk Special Forces for me, who is he/she?

Okay, you got me. Tremor, The Crimson Crusader, Voltage and the Superkids are all superheroes I made up for the TV shows I plan to make when I get a job as a cartoonist. I cheated!

Tremor: armor enables flight and ability to cause small range earthquakes

Voltage: can manipulate electricity

Crimson Crusader: Ancient "crimson energies" enable flight, super strength, super speed, and "crimson manifestations" (think green lantern ring, only red.)

Superkids: 5 kids who gained powers from exposure to radiation.
Members:
Mariner (leader): amphibious abilities and hydrokinesis
Krusha: geokinesis
Samba: Telekinesis and telepathy
Flamewolf: Turns into a wolf that can project fire.
Ying: blackbelt in Jujitsu, Kung fu, & and Tai Chi, superspeed, swordsmaster
additional members:
Titan: living nexus of heroic spirits, which causes Superhuman strength and under intense concentration, ghost-like abilities.
Batwing: Cyborg exoskeleton with various gozmos & gadgets.

P.S. I don't really expect anyone to read all that.

Gee, thanks. If you ever view the show, (if it ever gets created), Titan won't come in until the beggining of season 2. I've planned it out pretty well.
All the major plots, the addition of the extra team members, the parts where heroes will leave the team temporarily (or permanently).... Yeah, the superkids won't always emerge from battle unscathed.
Heck, one story involves the death of one member, which effects another member so badly....... well can you say
Su-i-side?

Have anyone seen the new X-Men movie? I saw it today, it is not worth the money. I waited for the theatre to open for about two hours to see X-2.

May 26, 2006 7:36 pm #

I saw X3, and I think it's worth the money. I liked it! Sure it might have been depressing at times, but I liked it overall. Then again, I never read the comics, so I don't know how real fans feel..... And I sorta feel like one of those blasphemers who say they love HP when they never read the books...

That's what I meant by depressing. Though I keep wondering if some will come back. You know, "If you don't see their cold dead body, they're not dead. ...and even if you do see their body doubt it till you've seen the sequel."
