My all time favourite Robot is Gort from the movie
The Day that Earth Stood Still ,,I have the DVD ,and with special effects it looks like it was just made
you can even see the strings as Gort picks up the Girl [as he was reallt a sick man in real life]
Even now !! I still jump when Gort comes our of the Saucer.
