My girlfriend and I have technically known each other since preschool, but we wound up going to different middle schools and never really got to know each other. Then we wound up going to the same high school and I simultaneously re-met by best friend and the love of my life :D

We became progressively closer friends for the next two and a half years, and I was considering her my best friend before too long. It turned out that even after being apart for so long, being raised in completely different environments, we're just completely compatible.

She's kind to the extreme, thoughtful, thinks the world of me (as to why, I'm still at a loss) and, as far as I can see, just completely flawless. As if it could get any better: she loves Star Wars. And her dad is a scifi freak who lets me raid his dvd library. I honestly could not imagine anyone better.

(Just so you know, the dad thing is obviously secondary. I'm not dating her for her dad's movies. Just to clarofy that.)

Yeah, no one wants to hear about this, I've gone on far too long already. Sorry! You got me in the bragging mood (congratulations, that's tough to do.) She's still my best friend, and we've been dating for 9 1/2 months now, with no end in sight :)

To day the girls beat us at a basketball game. Its weird we can beat all the other guys at basket ball but then we play against the girls and they woop us.and it was 3 agaist 5 and they still beat us :P

i feel like a total loser today because my high school is having its prom this weekend and im stuck at home date less agean. its been like 3-months sence i hade a date. am i the bigest lame wad on earth.

Hey, It's better to have love and lost then to have never of have love at all.......like me.........I've Never been on a date. I wouldn't know what to do. :(

All you need to know is this:

- DON'T take her to the movies
- do the talk, even if it's about none sense, but BE HONEST! A girl likes a guy with opinions ;)
- Spoil her with the things she likes... my previous boyfriend bought me some super-rare demo CD's from a band that I love :D
- Do exciting outdoor things (paintball? :P) and not just sitting around in your room hoping to make out (that's why I dumped my ex ;) )
- Be YOURSELF, act casual, but then if you're going out with a girl it should be because she makes you feel comfortable. A girl wouldn't go out with a guy that doesn't make her feel good either.

I guess you have a good start if you already know these things :)

(Personally I like going to music stores criticizing every band I know, or trying out guitars, it's fun and it's free - until we get kicked out by the salesmen :P But I also like getting drunk :D)

thanks guys, but the mall dates never work for me because most of the grils ive takenn to the mall just want to hang out at the clothing stores and thats cool for like 10mins then when i say lets get a biet to eat they get all mad.

Well, for my first date with my girlfriend we went minigolfing and then went out for ice cream...I guess that's a bit lame, but we had fun! Plenty of time to talk, too. That's the most important part, I think: talking, getting to know the person, since that's... kindofthereasonfordating? Unless I'm just naive. That could be it too.

Aw, don't worry about it. Not having a date for a certain amount of time doesn't mean you're a loser. Quality over quantity, man: once you get out of high school and it stops being all about good looks and popularity you can actually be in a relationship that means something. Or you could get lucky and find someone who doesn't care about that kind of thing now, but that's pretty rare.
