Topic: Its been...

I'm having a wonderful week here. Simply marvelous. I am in need of a friend, or something, but thats part of my rough week too. I hope everyone doesn't think I'm a n00b or pathetic because I'm posting this... i just don't know what else to do.

I guess it started yesterday, when I got word that my best friend in real life was hurt during her horse competition. At the time things were kind of sketchy, but we weren't sure if she would be ok. I couldn't sleep last night because i was worried and just wanted to know what was going on. Thankfully she called me this afternoon at work. She's got a crushed pelvis, and will need surgery once she is stronger. But she's out of the big danger zone, there was a while where they weren't sure, so that was the biggest relief in the world. I was so scared to death that another of my friends was going to pass way.

My relief was short lived as my former boss came to talk to me. I had been hoping to go full time at my job, but he said "I can't afford that right now. Actually, I can't afford you at all. Thanks, its nothing about your work, but I just can afford to keep you right now." So that coupled with the end of the school year means I HAVE NO JOB anymore. El zilcho. And its horrible because every other summer when school is out I have worked camps, but because its so late, they are all staffed. I wish i knew what to do. It doesn't make any matters better when my mom comes home from her job and starts flipping out at me and ask "why do YOU always seem to have problems. Whats wrong with you?" "You must be too stupid to do anything...." So I've just spent the last hour fighting over that.

I don't know what to do... i am at a complete loss.

First, want to say how glad I am your friend will be ok

Second, if that's what your Mom really said to you, then you don't want to know what I think of her.  You are NOT STUPID by any stretch.  It's tough losing a job that you were getting the hang of, but the longer you dwel on it, the longer it'll take you to find something new, and hopefully better. 

Really sorry you've had such a rough time of it lately, but I'm sure you'll get through.

well, kudos to your friend, hope she manages to make a full recovery. and, i get the mom stuff all the time, personally i'd say try to either ignore it or work it out somehow. and don't let losing a job get to you, it's simple that your boss sucks cuz he doesn't have any money, so u should get a better one.

I dunno what to say, but I'm glad your friend's ok.

And *hug*. Huggles all around, I could use some too.

( sorry if that sounded weird, but I have a problem, trying to work out how to make people better. It's as if it's in me...... Weird...... :/ )
