Topic: Evolutions Fett Legacy Action Figures

The Fett Evolutions action figures we spoke about in our San Diego Comic Con 07 news article are finally here.  They're already taking pre-orders for them at Entertainment Earth, but you can also expect to see them on store shelves pretty soon, as well.

The set includes Boba Fett with removable helmet, Jango Fett, and Mandalore the Indomitable.

i've seen it up for preorder on a couple of site's & they've got release as March :D

why does it annoy me that bobas helmet comes off?
is this a sign of things to come, fett on the tv show in casual wear etc,
walking around with his helmet off?

Oh I see. The headsock idea sounds right, now that I look closer. I guess that would make sense.

You know I had always thought it was going to be a Jeremy head, too, because it looked like gray hair.  You guys talking about a head sock reminded me of the Galactic Stormtrooper figure with the removable helmet.  It does kind of look like a head sock when you enlarge the pic, although it comes out pretty grainy because of the original pic's size.  I bet it's just a repaint version of this guys head.

Hopefully it's not, but I guess we'll have to wait and see now.  The Jango figure looks like the mold from the Episode II Commemorative Tin Collection.

Well, it's definitely a head sock repaint of the above figure.  They're finally starting to be shipped out this month.

It also looks like you can swap between head gear for Jango, too.

Here you go.  They're all over eBay right now, but it's cheaper to buy them direct.  It's not like there's going to be a shortage or anything, you know?  I still think a Cassuss Fett figure would have made more sense, though (since it is a "Fett's Evolutions" figures).  Especially since they've already shown him in the Knights of the Old Republic comic book.  I guess they could have just called it a "Mandalore" Evolution series, since they were all Mandalore at some point.  That would've probably been better.  Oh well.  If wishes were horses.

THESE ARE SO COOL! I'll have to be on the look out for them. I saw the stormtooper variation of the theme and wondered if they would do something like this. It makes sense with the head sock thing thou, because Indy Car drivers wear them under their helmets.

I can't wait to get that :D If I can.......

I agree 100% on the 'Fett Evelolutions' title.  With that name, they really should have thrown in Cassuss, or one of the later Fetts.  But whatever the name, I'll be glad to get my hands on all these   :D

I got one at Target yesterday. XD I haven't opened it. If I find another one I'm going to buy that one too so I can open it.

I picked this one up today as well as The Sith Legacy (with Nihlus Bane and Maul).  Boba looks pretty good but Im trying to decide if I should open it or leave it MIB until I find another.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think they did a bit of a poor job on Nihilus? (Hard to tell from the pic, but, the Sith Legacy stuff doesn't look as good as the Mando...)

Sith...Mando...hmmm...That's a hard pick (honestly), although Mando would win out for me in the end.  If only I had the resources...

The boba looks pretty much like just a repaint of another fett, but with just a head under the helmetL  nice looking paint aps though.

Just bought another Fett set so that I can open it up.  Didnt think I would like the warrior at all but he isnt half bad.

Ah.. you get two and I can't seem to find one. I went looking and haven't found it yet. I have some "free parking money" for this and i can't spend it.

I just got my set... easily the best action figure repreentations of all three characters ever. I love the ball jointed torsos.

I have 2 so far...  theres 6 to get if you are a variant collector like me

theres 2 mistakes onthe pack...  1st was printed RETURN OF THE JEDI and has since been sticker and then print corrected with EMPIRE  ( see previous post for stickered)

Also theres no MANDO symbol on the left of the check on 1st run ones.

Gahhhh so thats possibly 6 or more possible for me to get.

Q2: Another Evolutions question: There are currently 3 packaging variants of the Fett Legacy set that have been produced dealing with corrections to the film designation above Boba Fett (1 ROTJ printed, ESB sticker, ESB printed), but the Boba Fett figure itself is still missing the proper symbol on his chest. Will this be addressed in subsequent production runs of this set and/or figure?

A2: The symbol issue was brought to our attention by fans, and we put a change into effect as quickly as we learned about it. At this point we do not have a precise date when the set will be affected, but it might not be until July at this point. This has been a tough set! We want to get it perfect in one shop, but that's not always possible, and this one unfortunately suffered the two errors but we're thankful we have a chance to correct it.

Yup, it`s true.  There is a Revan figure, as you can see in Sniper33`s pic.  Will post a pic of my Revan and other figures soon.

And I agree, A_A, there is something not right with Nihilus.  For one he`s way too short.  Not sure what else is wrong with him, but there`s something.  I could have bought that back, and would have for him *not a Maul/Bane fan, although Maul looks really good*, but something about that Nihilus figure is just off.  The Revan figure isn`t a perfect representation of the game Revan either, but it still looks good.

Wow I was about to post this! I have the figures and they rock!

I know that this is an old topic but my Toy's r us finally got them in. The question that I have to ask is that Boba has no chest emblem, is this a mistake or are all the figures world wide the same? Mine is a Japanese release.

OH man! You got them too! No Fair. I guess I shall have to resort to ebay and pay an arm and a leg. I have been dilligently searching, but to no avail. The stores here only seem to have the Jedi Evolutions.

My question on the Jedi Evolutions is..... why Bultar Swan??????
