It'll never happen. I was expecting this pretty much since I saw whatshisname. If they wanted to let some new kid take charge of the series and continue it, as in a sort of new young Indy-type person with their own series, they should have chosen a different actor. Cause this choice sucks.

And if you click the foxnews article icon at the bottom there, I kinda like the part where it says no one wanted Clone Wars, and that's why Warner has it is cause Fox rejected it, hehe. I always said any new tv series would destroy SW.

Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.

Well, yeah, sure, it can happen. Or they can try anyway. But who really likes this kid? Not I. I mean, he's OK in some movies. But he's a bit too pretty to be an Indy wannabe. Unless he grows up and gets the hard "Yeah, I've seen some bad things in my life, but I'm alright" look that the REAL Indy has... well then he's just some kid in a costume pretending to be all tough. Not to mention he's not even remotely cute, and wasn't that part of Indiana Jones was that he was hot? A small part of it, maybe, but it's still true.

I am not against Ford coming back as an 80-year-old Indiana. I'm against Shia.

Not to mention the horrible name they gave him. Mutt? Mutt!?! *facepalm* That is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. I get the joke. We all get the joke. Ha ha. Indy was named after George's dog. We know. But do we have to give the rip-off a name that is almost the exact same thing!?

I'm not saying he'll be horrible. I think he will be. But that doesn't mean I'll be right. If I'm wrong, sure, I'll apologize. And I'll still be watching the movie on opening day, eager and in anticipation. I even built my husband an Indy costume for the release. I just think they should have gotten a better actor to play the new kid.

Edit: I'm sorry for being mean. I had a tooth pulled the other day and it hurts to eat on that side and I'm trying to eat right now and food keeps shifting over there and hurting which is making me irritable. But a lot of what I said still stands I think.

I don't think Shia is necessarilly a bad actor, but he would be bad for that role, I think.

Mr. T should be the next Indiana Jones, he would be looking for more treasure to put around his neck :P.

take it easy baby take it as it comes

It would be easyier to except him as an Indy replacement if he was his son. But if he's not... It'd be like Scorpian king and the mummy, sequals and prequals of eachother. But not really having anything to do with eachother.

Agreed. Lucas needs a smack to the head. Maybe then he will wake up and stop ruining the great things he has brought into the world.

Meat is murder...... tasty tasty murder.

A fifth Indy film would work but only with Harrison ford as the main actor.

nah.

Nobody can play the role Harrison did, nobody.
Its the way he plays his parts.

You can't replace him in Star Wars.

You can't replace him in Indy movies.
It just can't be done.
