What do you guys think the best Star Wars movie is

Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope
Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi

i personally think Revenge of the Sith is the best but what do you guys think, and why

I think Episode 5.  It had a shift of attention from Luke.  We got to see character development from more people.  I think Kershner was one of the best directors.  A bit of a darker undertone with the whole plot twists.  And the introduction of our favourite character.

I also like Phantom Menace because of one reason.  Duel of the Fates.  The BEST lightsaber fight in all the trilogies.  It was all real actors doing real things and it was as slow and choppy as the older ones.  The ones in Episode II, and III were cool but it was kind of lame with the overkill on CG.

My thoughts exactly. And also, in ESB, the twist with Vader being Luke's father is unparalleled.

I'd have to stay the original, Star Wars: A New Hope. Without it, there wouldn't be any others. ;)

I would call it a toss up between ESB and AOTC clones. I blame it on the Fett fan in me coming out mainly. With ESB back in 1980 my Fett fascination started and with AOTC many years later my fascination was rekindled. I like how Boba Fett gets linked to the stormtroopers even if it is for a little while and ESB was all round well done with the development of the characters.

I totally agree with you about Ep. V

However, instead of Ep. I *despite the lightsaber fight, which was really good,* I'd go with Ep. II.  It gave us the origan of the Clones AND Boba, gave us Jango *whish was a good thing in my book,* and the Battle of Geonosis which was awsome

i thought the 2 lightsaber fights at the end of episode 3 with Anakin vs Obi-wan and Yoda vs Sideos were amazing, the music went so well with it
i also thought that Order 66 in episode 3 was fantasticaly done
and i like clones so eppy 2,3 get a bonus with me

i would agree with everything but the last two. although i guess one could say the plot of attack of the clones was better, i still liked phantom menace more.

Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise conceived by George Lucas.I like the Phantom Menace best purely because of the fight at the end between the Jedi Knights and Darth Maul.I like also The Empire Stikes Back.

Has to be The Empire Strikes Back. We first see Boba Fett after all.
