I find it really interesting. How it burst into flames at New York. Dozens of germans died. I watched a documentry about it last night. I love it! :D

You've been holding out on us again haven't you? Since you haven't given us enough money, I'll guess I'll have to take it out of you piece by piece! - Unknown Mandalorian.

So...you love that a Zeppelin burst into flames and a ton of people died?

Either way, it was probably what those Germans least expected.

Most likely, it's not like you would expect a plane to blow up underneath you, but it happens.
I don't understand what this topic is discussing, really.
The Hindenburg exploded and burned...

Life is complex-It has both real and imaginary components.
March 29, 2008 11:59 am #

well, the topic can be widened if you wanna discuss this in terms of chemistry...

March 29, 2008 12:33 pm #

Just curious about the point...

Life is complex-It has both real and imaginary components.

I was just wondering.............Sorry, if you aren't interested. I was just wondering if you thought it was cool.....

Real people dying in an explosion caused by incomplete knowlege of the gases...
Not that cool in my book...

Life is complex-It has both real and imaginary components.

I think what green means is that he finds the Hindenburg disaster fascinating or interesting. He just chose the wrong words to express that.
And just fro the record they knew about the gas, because the Germans used zeppelins in World War one, as well as hot air balloons.
They just had never used them for public transportation.

Our modern society in general is sort of obessed with disasters. Do people remember the Titanic? Over a thousand people died and yet decades later people still talk about this thing or that thing about it. Or what about those that reneact Revolutionary or Civil war battles? People died then too. Its part of culture now.

Meat is murder...... tasty tasty murder.

Question: Why, oh why, Green Helmeted Fett, do you have 'The Hindenburg' as your user title? And please stick to one account, it's a little annoying with having you switch back and forth between GHF and Masterchief.

April 6, 2008 3:38 am #

Let me repeat myself from ages ago, in a different topic. I have two user names because 1. - I can go on my dads computer in Edinburgh. And I have one here because this is my home. :)
2. - please stop arguing. :)

April 8, 2008 4:40 am #

Okay, guys please stop dogging him, okay. If he wants to accounts and we know that he is both of them, it shouldn't be a problem. And plus there is nothing in the rules that say you can't have to accounts as long a we know they are both the same person.
But there is a rule about not staying on topic.

on topic.....Anyone read Pendragon? the third book was centered around the Hindenberg. It is an interesting story though, in how it happened. Yeah, we are pretty obsessed with death and disasters

April 18, 2008 10:10 pm #

Okay, never mind. I wasn't forcing you. :)

You can just  talk about it and post pictures. :)

The talking doesn't involve talking about the story or information. So don't worry. :) :P

April 21, 2008 4:48 am #

Well, for one I know that the explosion wasn't because the Germans didn't know that the Gas in side the Zeppelin was flammable. They, like the Titanic, over estimated the durability of the ship.

April 21, 2008 7:11 am #

Some people think the guy that wanted to see his dog ( you know? The guy? :) ) think that he was trying to plant a bomb, but I doubt it was that! :D

You're foolish words can never hurt me
April 21, 2008 1:00 pm #

What?!

April 25, 2008 7:27 am #

Yeah, A guy tried to plant a bomb on the Hindenburg, and that's what some people believe caused it to crash.

No way! They was fling in a lighting storm. The lighting hit the Zeppelin and it caught fire
