So lets hear them, what are your favorite star wars books????


I like the Medstar series, the RC books, Bounty hunter wars

Cool selection! I will look into the Medstar series because I've read a lot of good things about it.

My favorites should be: RC's, Shadows of the Empire, the Thrawn Trilogy, BH wars and Truce at Bakura even thought it's been ages since I last opened it.

I agree, the Medstars are wonderful. But my absolute favorites are the Thrawn Trilogy, Outbound Flight, the X-Wing books, and the Bounty Hunter Wars. I also enjoyed The Approaching Storm.

I like the Young Jedi Knight Series by Kevin J. Anderson,   and also OF COURSE......the Commando books by Karen Traviss (Hard Contact/Triple Zero).    cool subject.....

Mine are The Bounty hunter Wars and Tales of the Bounty Hunters. :D

Mine would also probably be the Bounty Hunter War trilogy.

Bounty Hunter Wars was awesome!
I also like the Legacy of the Force, and even though I haven't read them yet, the Republic Commando books.  I also liked the Darth Bane series.

I would agree on the RC books, although as a general rule I like the older books better (ones from the 20th century). So, I would have to say that my favorite one would be the Tales of the Bounty Hunters. I have read the first one of the Bounty Hunter Wars, but havent read the other two yet. Looking forward to it though when I find them.

I really like the RC books. They were some of the most fun of all of them to read. I enjoyed the Medstar duology, reminded me of M*A*S*H (the TV show not the movie) in some parts. I happen to be a big Jude Watson fan, whether its her Jedi Apprentice, Quest or Last of the Jedi series. I think I read most of the Jedi Apprentice series before any of the other Star Wars books. *This is a hard question to ask me, as I read and have so many of them. The Darth Bane books were fun too. I think its easier for me to tell you which books are my least favorite.

I hear ya.  Naming one as a single favourite is tough for avid readers.  Especially ones who have read as many books about their favourite characters as possible (this isn't me...I havent read every possible Boba Fett book)

This is impossible. I've read about 100 total, i think, so....Legacy of the Force is good, but RC might be my favorite series. Basically anything by Zahn. Bounty Hunter Wars was good. Boba as a kid, decent. X-wing Series, all the way!!!! I, Jedi was great. NJO very good. Jude watsons various series were decent, if very easy. Informative. Liked Secrets of the Jedi, by her. and not sure what else. LOVE RC though.

I totally have to read RC soon.  Gah!  It burns me that I havent yet.

yes, you ABSOLUTELY have to read them. Some of the best SW books written. And the fourth comes out in August!! I can't wait.

Loved the X-Wing books. Great characters, from movies and made up ones. Funny too.

hmm..i like the tales of the bounty hunters, and the boba fett parts in the books by karen traviss, i always enjoy the graphic novels..SW tales 7, enemy of the empire, but no matter what, my all time favorite SERIES is the kid boba fett series!! thats right! they get straight to the point and i like learning how boba grows from a kid, to the galaxys best bounty hunter!

It is worth the read, a very good book.  Especially if you like Sith. :D

I think you'll like it even if you don't like the Sith. This book will make you like the Sith.

Or it will make you hate them.  It's either you love it or hate it, really.  Depends o what kind of a person you are, I guess...Now, since I like the books, what does that make me....?

I loved The Black Fleet Crisis and the Corrillian Trilogy. Anything by Zahn and the Bounty Hunter Tri. were great too!

yeah, but Bane was a cool sith. Jacen, for example, is a not-cool sith. That's how you divide it. Black fleet was decent, Correlian, was ok. And yeah, Zahn's great.

I loved reading the shadows of the empire book, I liked reading the tales of the bounty hunters, and I am currently on " Tales of Jabba's Palace " ..................so I'm quite reading them easily and recent. :)

I like SW Bounty Hunter tales.
