What white strip of linen near the belt?

Tan strip of cloth right above the ammo pouches on your costume.

Green, if your still trying to figure out what the flightsuit is, its the suit worn under the armor. Cloth.

Ahhhh, now I follow you. That's not the flightsuit that's a rope belt/Journeyman Protector belt. On Boba it is a dull maroon colour, whilst Jango wears a brown corded (bolo) leather version, mine is tan. It's worn under the ammo pouches and is wide enough to cover part of the groin plate and waist.

As already mentioned the flightsuit is the overall worn under the armour plates, Mine is light grey, Boba wears a darker grey and Jango's is a dark blue. The flak vest is worn over that (that's the vest the torso armour is attached to) then the armour itself and then any belts, trophies, pouches and holsters etc.

well i have figured out my armor colors, green with blue trim
and when searching around for templates for armor i found a site called thedentedhelmet.com
and they had templates for people of various heights and sizes, one topic gave the the idea to make it out of the white garbage cans at walmart
now the hard part is to find a helmet

Helmets are actually quite easy to find and depend upon how much you want to pay and how decent you want the helmet to be. I'd suggest stearing clear of Rubies Boba helmets as they are always very VERY badly deformed and often take a lot of hard work to  make into anything that even slightly resembles a Mando helmet - think Mando roadkill... Rubies Jango helmets are better but still need a lot of work and are often undersized, meaning you see Mando's walking around with tiny heads!!!
There are a few helmet dealers on TDH (that's the dented helmet) and (KOTE) that can make extremely accurate helmets for Mando's, some are cheap and some are expensive - let me know if you want their contact details.

On a related note. KOTE is working towards starting American Squads for trooping events, we just need more members aged 18 or above. So if you are interested in trooping your Mando after it's finished then pop over to www.kotemandos.com and www.501st.co.uk and sign up. Templates for the armour can also be found on KOTE Mandos along with some black and white design templates to allow you to test colours on paper before painting your armour.

The method using plastic garbage cans you refured to is known as Trash-can armour and if you can't find sintra is a good way to do parts of the armour. Make sure you use non brittle plastic though or it'll simply shatter.

Trooping is part of the reason im doing the armor, the other is so i can randomly walk around in it
The contact info for the guys that do the helmets would be nice, but i will get that from you once i get closer to making the armor

any suggestions on how to/what to attach the armor?

besides gold solid (like Kal'buir), black w/ gold trim, or something involving read. honoring a father, in Mando society, is cool.

I found this very interesting:

Black, for example, signified justice, while gold armor was for vengeance. Green armor signified duty.[8] Blue was for reliability, gray for mourning a lost love, and red was to honor a father

I am sure some of this has been said before, but some might not have been, and I thought it was worth posting.  Enjoy :)

yeah, i put it a page back, which you couldn't have seen. The blue, red, and grey were new to the list, i knew green, black, and gold. Does Ordo have red armor? or is it Mereel? Cus red is suitable for either. They'd obey Kal'buir in anything, and honor him greatly

I want to say it was ordo, with mareel in blue... im about 99% on that

and i made a reference to the colors, saying the chapter they where in in KT's new book a page before you Werda

That's well said. Could a Mando combine colors to have more than one meaning?  Like a grey and black set of armor meaning both justice and a lost love?

I hate this color system.........

I think the colors should represent your Clan, or perhapes as A_A mentioned in the chat the other day mean nothing more then you personal taste in style

The decoration and colors of Ram Zerimar's Beskar'gam are a Clan thing
Mando's choose everything about their armor, so the color system may have started out as something along the lines of what A_A said, but a group of Mando's may have put a meaning behind the color that became accepted maybe something along the lines of "Justice is blind, so i shall paint my armor black"

but the biggest reason that i can think of behind a color system is that everyone can tell what you stand for at a glance

I still like the Clan Colors system better, but your explanation does make sense.  I never thought of it in quite that way.  I was assuming this was something KT had injected as being a society wide thing and something that had always been practiced.  Thxs!

you can. One Mando, Venku (Kad'ika), has no two plates the same. that's to honor members of his family that are dead, but still. Or black armor with gold trim would say justice is your first priority, but hint of vengeance, a promise of revenge to any who cross you, etc

Actually, it's in the RC books that this is the "traditional" meaning of the colors, but it doesn't neccessarily mean if you wear that color that it's what it's for.  Some colors were, like you suggested, a clan thing.  While it said others simply used colors that they did because they liked the color.  Like Ordo and Jaing did.  It stated something along the lines that he picked the color just because he liked the red color.  Maybe because his ARC Trooper rank is red?  Who knows?  But yeah, it's stated in there that the colors aren't set in stone.  Just that it's the traditional meaning of the colors.

Hope this helps out some.

Makes me wonder about how RC: Order 66 will end now.  Makes me wonder if the plates are "hand me downs", you know, since he'll still be a baby in the new book.

probably. From family members that have died throughout his life, is my guess. or something. he's in his 50s, so he's had plenty of time to lose family....that came out wrong. Alot of people could have died. He's older than Luke, anyways

The other thing to remember is that the book has Beviin state (in direct referral to Kad'ika)
"We often wear a plate of a loved one's armour after they die, sometimes during their lifetimes, too. He wears his whole family."

This suggest that there s a possibility  more then just Jaing and Gotab/Bard'ika live.

this may or may not be a spoiler so readers beware
at the end of KT's latest legacy book Bard'ika states that he has adopted several children, and Kad'ika is not much older than Luke, if it wasnt for the accelerated pregnancy they probably would have been borne around the same time

He is cool.  As Delta 62 is the heart and soul of Delta Squad, Kad'ika is the heart of Mandalore, I think.

I agree, but as Boss leads them i'd go more with him. But, actally, he was described as closer to a "political agravator" or something. a lot agree with him, but not all. He's cool--a family guy, a warrior, and just cool in general. Sadly, we just  dont' see much of him. And he keeps lightsabers

The Mandalorian Warrior in the FanFic I'm working on has black armor to symbolize justice with a gold visor T to symbolize vengence and a blood red Mythosaur skull on the left shoulder. The layout of the armor is like Canderous Ordo's.

Home is where the armor is.

Cool, I think if armor is just black with maybe a hint of another color it looks a little bland though, I dont like that.
