That's so cool. I love the look of the tan and red armor. *makes me jealous* :D
Hi Ven, not seen you for a while. You'll find the folks here nice and friendly and very enthusiastic about those of us in armour, so you'll enjoy being here.
Lol Orthar,
although I have to say, it is true for me at least, that I love seeing people in spiffy armor :P I really like your armor Vendrel, it's pretty darn sweet if I may say so myself :D
I'm starting to look around my house for usable items to make my armor....... I'm affraid I've caught the bug
Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I will post more (if you wanna see them) pictures soon.
Take care

So have I.......But I dont think I have the time to make one.....how expensive is it to make a wearable costume?
I have a thread on making a costume that may help you. It's a guide really, offering advice on some of the approaches to it. i won't go into detail here as it takes Ven's thread a little off-topic but the cost can vary greatly depending upon what you intend to do with your costume. A fancy dress or Halloween costume can be pretty cheap, you can make it out of just about anything but if you want to get into KOTE (www.501st.co.uk) or the 501st (www.501st.com) then the cost raises considerably as accuracy and detail become a factor. My Mando has cost me around £800 (approx. $1600), although it can cost less if you don't have things like the jetpack. An accurate Boba can cost £1500 (approx. $3000), double that if you pay for someone to paint it. Jango is around the £1500 mark complete, but these are costumes that will get you into KOTE or the 501st garrisons that accept Mandos.
Ven's used a Clonetrooper chest piece on his armour, so that probably changed his overall cost a little. Using items around the home or in DIY stores can help drop the cost too, assuming your not doing Boba or Jango where you have to match the on-screen costumes.
Not a cheap hobby you'll agree but few people buy everything all at once, so it is possible to create an amazing set of Mando armour on a small budget just by taking your time with it.
Here are sone new pictures from a photo shoot I just did.
Notice I've updated my ammo belt and vest. (Never ending as you all know.)
