Does anyone have any health problems, like diabetes, heart disease, or brain problems? Anything major or even minor things like broken bones can be discussed here. I happen to have a heart problem.

Interesting topic, I happen to be hypoglycemic, have RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) and really bad circulation in both hands and feet, although none of those compare to heart problems.

I have an allergy to all fake sugars, such as aspartame, nutrasweet, splenda, etc. Those three are the worst. Aspartame is the absolute worst, it's an instant "omg I'm sick, I can't get up, and I'm going to throw up" headache. The other two aren't so bad, just a mild nausea and headache.

And I have a possibility of having inherited a hereditary colon cancer.

Also had a neck injury a month ago that still aches sometimes.

Oh, oh, and a box cutter scar on my knee that sometimes aches right before a major weather change.

Well as some of you know I had dislocated my finger.  And just today I took the splint off to give it a breather and I smash it on the bell of my trumpet.  Stupid me.  So it hurts now.

But other than that and a cold I have I'm not to bad.

Miba, how did you get a box cutter scar?  I accidentally cut myself in that flap of skin in between the thumb and index and that is talking forever to heal.

I thought you were exaggerating a little there, but then I looked down, and guess who I saw on my shirt.

I guess I have a couple short-term things; a kanker sore and asore arms and shoulders.

I had a injury in the same location, have the scar to prove that one.. three stiches.. I was flushing a toilet at work...:P I also have a scar around 2 inches long on my right palm.. 7 stiches... open can lid.

I'm the unhealthest healthy 24 year old. I'm hypoglycemic, have chronic headaches and migranes, and degenerative cartalage in both my knees, worse in my right knee. On top of that or maybe the cause of those other problems I have fibromyalgia. Its basically a chronic syndrom characterized by different things, different for each person, "soft- tissue" pain the most common. I also have an acute allergy to rabbits. I love them, have one, but can't really touch or spend time in an enclosed space with them.

The only thing serious thing I can think of is that I'm alergic to an antibiotic called... augmenten I think. It causes severe swelling in all my joints, to where I couldnt walk/move to save my life. I also get a fever and a headache.

Forgot to mention, I'm allergic to the whole cillin family i.e. penicillin, amoxicillin.  Also, I have a sleep disorder called sleep apnea, although that's getting better.  Have flat feet too, which leads to ankle problems, so I have to wear special insoles in my shoes.

My heart problem is mild aortic regurgitation, and a bicommisural aortic valve. That means that my aorta is too big for me, and it leaks. The leaking isn't bad, but the worst thing is that because of my aorta's size, if I get hit very hard in the chest in the right place, it could tear, thus causing me to bleed to death in less then 5 minutes.

Oh, and I might have inherited a very deadly genetic heart disease called Brugada. My mom has it, and she had to get a Pacemaker/Defibrillator implanted in her chest.

I was kneeling and had a case of Go-Gurts between my knees that I was opening. The box cutter slid off the edge as I was cutting and momentum carried my hand to my knee. It bled a LOT. In fact I was on my way up to the bathrooms to wash up and bandage it, dripping blood and limping and some stupid customer stopped me to ask a question. It probably needed stitches, but I didn't go. It ached for quite a while, off and on. Then it finally stopped freaking out at me so often. Then it didn't hurt for almost a year then it suddenly started aching right before we suddenly dropped from 30 degrees down to -20.

I got a blood disorder called TTP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrombotic_thrombocytopenic_purpura) Horrible thing really. I almost died because of it. I also had mystery bloody fluid around my heart (I think it was caused from the TTP, but no one's sure)  and get pains in my chest and shoulders every so often.

Other that that, I'm allergic to one of my cats. Just one, which is weird (I think it has to do with the fact that she sheds alot, while the others don't shed as much.)

I mean no disrespect, but keep it real. Everyone just cannot have those super-rare allergies etc.

I really don't have any health problems that I know of. I was getting nosebleeds frequently in the summer/fall, but we got a humidifier and I don't have that problem anymore. So I'm really lucky I guess.

I wasn't lying. The knee isn't a big deal, it rarely bothers me. And I really do have those allergies. If I exagerate on anything it's because I just don't have a lot of problems.

I used to have sore knees after basketball but as you said, it was just bones growing faster than tendons causing pain.  So he said I'd grow out of it and I did.

I actually had an orthopedist say that about my knees when I was like 13/14, after I reached my current 5'4" status. ( That my knees were growing pains). Yeah that explains why the got worse over time. Listen to your body always. I found somebody that didn't dismiss me just because I wasn't 50.
