Atinvod: I am most flattered that you think so much of me :P I just try to be as simple as possible in the "attitude" online, it's not like I need to prove anything with what I write, more with what I draw, hehe!

I don't have a job, by the way. And I'd loooove to draw for a living, I just lack the contacts, and the "going out to see people" thing. I just sit around home, drawing :P

RC-3222: Ahh!! Glad you like it! You might like to know that I'm currently working on a "comic" page featuring the same character... Basically it's a non-conforming Jedi, who also acts kinda mean at the Temple :P

Yup.  Worshiping someone as if they were a god.  From the Latin word 'deus', which means 'god'.  Defying is spelled different.
And ARC Fett, just saying 'sweetness' and nothing else is useless.  It doesn't help anyone or even convey your thoughts very well.  Try saying what you like about it most, or how well she used colors.  Then the board space doesn't get wasted.

Anyways, that last pic would probably be me if I were a Jedi.  The tats are really good.  (See?  That is what a good comment looks like.)

Actually, I think it looks more like a guy... something about the jawline and the face in general. And if it is a girl, she appears very flat-chested.

And I was thinking her breastplastes were too large? :P

Anyway, I have so much trouble drawing girls with too girlie features that I make them look like guys... kinda. But that's a good thing for a mando girl, right? :)

I'm sorry for being quite inactive lately, but as I was looking around town for jobs I stumbled upon a Marine Corp staff sergeant and he told me about carreer opportunities, the wonders of being a marine, etc. It was really cool to talk technologies, weapons and tactical ops with a professional!

Anyway I told him about my interest for the Army that goes back for a while now... And all I got was a Licence degree in Scandinavian languages (that's equivalent to 3 years validated in university). He went "Aaahh! :O" and told me I should totally look into signing up because they reeeeally need people with "rare" linguistic abilities like me :D

I might be gullible or whatever, but when you've been applying to dozens of jobs all over and got nothing but "Sorry but we don't have anything that suits your profile" as a response, you can get pretty angry at society. And no, I'm not choosing the military way because I'm angry. I sort of believe in their honesty and devotion to serve, and - for once - I'm not being discouraged before even trying.

I hope you'll excuse this major off-topic post in the art thread, I didn't want to attract any useless attention on my case by creating a special thread for this. I'm not stubborn by nature, but this time I won't back away from taking this chance.

Henceforth, no artworks for the mo' :P

Scandinavian languages are Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic. I majored in Norwegian and it's the freaky spelling with å's and ø's :P

Today I took a break from all the training and physical preparations (I'm a wuss, I know it :P) and got an old idea from the time I had just finished reading Triple Zero. I wanted to portray Bardan Jusik! For those who don't remember: the young Jedi general who's really into the mando thing. I don't think anybody has ever drawn him before, so don't take this one for his actual looks. It's only my own fantasy and yes, I'm quite the Bardan-fan, I like him more than Ordo or Skirata or Etain or Sev..... :P
