The 1997 bronze statue sculpted by Randy Bowen (see our Bounty DB record) has come up in discussion here and there.

In 1997, Wizard Magazine had a photo essay on the creation of the statue.

This is some very nice work. I think its especially detailed for the scale of the peice. I just started my sculpture class and am learning how very hard this is to make. So I must give the artist credit where it is due.

I have only ever seen this once in person and it was at SW C3 in INDY on the Brians toys booth... and my god it was lovely but had already spent over $1500 on Fett stuff at the event and didnt know how to get it home to the UK safely so I passed on it.
