Now that I have a few members out there who are interested in joining my Clan, I want to make it something fun and different.  So I hope to use this thread as our own place to chat; share ideas about Boba, the Mandalorians, Star Wars in general, and other topics of interest; and plan our moves for RPG’s and other creative and fun ventures.

I want this to be a tight knit group.  Stick up for your Aliit (Clan) members out there; the Clan is our weapon!  Together we shall CONQUER  (or at least have some fun trying :) ) But as V_M posted on his Clan thread (an idea he stole from me I think; oh well, just means it’s a good idea worth stealing :D ), this is all for FUN!  Not gangs here; we want ALL to have fun.  NO attacks or abuse of ANY kind is wanted here.

Also as V_M mentioned, the Clans are sort of meant for like-minded fans.  Not necessary, but I have some opinions about the Mando’s and Boba that not all will agree with.

I thought it was one worth implementing. As for "like minded" I meant more like similar minded, 'cuz if we all thought the same, we'd be bored to death all the time here...no point to that...

And a good point about the 'like minded' interpretation.  Didn't mean it as 'my way of the highway.'  All are welcome; it's just that the posts I linked to are the version of Mandalorians that I have, and as the Alor of this Clan I thought I should mention it for those who don't have that opinion.

Not much activity, so thought I'd post my character profiles here.  The Mando profile is the one I like the best, and will use the Force user only when I need a Jedi type for an RPG.  As I come up with more for other settings I'll share them here as well

Anyone else in the Clan have a prefered character you want to share or create here?

Name: Ralin Drakus

Age: 25

Species: Mandalorian

Occupation: Freelance mercenary; but also Bountyhunter for the right price/challenge; Follows a strict Honor code and will only accept missions that fit it

Loyalties: To his Clan and Clan Brothers/Sisters

Weapons: Custom sniper rifle; Light repeating carbine *usually kept aboard ship as a back-up;* Matching Mandalorian heavy blaster pistols(strapped to legs Jango Fett style, but a little higher);Jet-pack mounted rocket, usually a high explosive warhead; Gauntlet mounted weapons/gadgets include: Dart/Rocket launcher; A micro-grenade launcher; two wrist lasers, one in each gauntlet; A fiber-cord line with grappling hook for scaling/descending obstacles ; A two-prong retractable18 inch blades in right gauntlet (like those used in the Predator movies);And a personal cloaking device recovered from ancient weapons catch on Dxon; Strength enhanced

Ship: Blood Hawk Modified StarViper Assault fighter; Laser cannons replaced with six long barrel Mass driver rifles (which fire a energized projectiles that pass through shields unhindered); Ship is controlled by a R2 droid intelligence that was installed into the main computer, effectively making the entire ship a droid; Crew:1; Passengers: 2; Prisoners: 1 *modified passenger seat, similar to the one used in “The Chronicles of Riddick”*

Primary Weapons: Two lightsabers, a blue one in the right hand and a red in the other, each saber’s handle would be long enough to use two hands on easily, the right hand blade would have a stainless steel look with black knobs and accents, a thin layer of black leather padding on the grip and a sapphire blue jem at the pommel; The left hand blade would be reversed *black handle with stainless knobs and a ruby red jem at the pommel; though it would also have the black leather padding in the grip*

Secondary Weapons: Two VibroDaggers, one in belt behind back, the other in right boot

Force abilities: Force choke, Force push, Heal, Force Wave, Force lightning, Strong telekinesis

Appearance: Tall, lean build, Wears dark double-breasted leather knee length robe under a black hooded cloak, tall black boots, and wears an Arkanian Blinder mask fitted to a helmet that covers his entire head *helmet is a support unit for a terrible injury to the back of the head from a lightsaber blow that nearly killed him; helmet just remain on, though he can remove the mask.  Right arm is also an artificial unit; very strong,* also wears a pair of strength enhancing gauntlets

Personality: Very cold and distant, doesn’t say much

StarShip: the Dark Spirit
A custom designed “flying wing”-like craft *think the ship that gets blown up by Zam, thinking Padme’s on it in Ep. II, just without that protruding tail section and a forward mounted cockpit, with low slung engines, and painted dark gray;* Has about the same amount of room as the Ebon Hawk; Droid intelligence installed into main commuter *yes, like the Blood Hawk above*; Weapons: Armed with six forward firing laser canons in the wings, plus a twin blaster turret mounted behind the cockpit, four forward firing torpedo launchers, two missile launchers

Do we need to be a member to share the character?

Well, that was the idea originally.  Wanted Clan characters here so we could get an idea of eachothers likes and dislikes; and also give opinions for upgrades/mods that would make them better.

Was going to put this in a seperat thread like. . . .  somebody else did in creative, but decided to put it here. 

But we can make an exception for you, A_A  :P  With your supportive comments on my story and other places, guess that makes you an ally of the Clan

If you want a Clan Title, I can help you come up with one if you like.

And now since I can post again *without spamming my own thread,* I'd like to announce to those who don't know that I'm just about ready to start my first RPG.

It's not Mando or even StarWars based *will have to do that next time,* but rather based on the game Oblivion.  I'll be posting it soon *probably tomorrow.*

very cool to be part of a clan :D  Question for anyone who cares to answer: is there a difference when someone calls a mandalore, or when they call the person a mandolorian?  Just wondering if there is a difference between the titles.  Thanks again Ralin for letting me in :D

Mandalore (the individual not the planet) is the leader of all the Mandalorian Clans whereas a Mandalorian is anyone following the culture and customs of the Mandalorian people. (Those led by Mandalore)

So, does anyone have another idea for an RPG?  was thinking about maybe one that involves the mandolorian wars, but i would need to do some more research on it, and i don't know if one already exists.  Any help in the matter would be appreciated :D

Sorry I havn't been keeping track of what all has been happening here, my RPG  *which is up* has been keeping me busy.  Thanks Si for doing my job for me here, I should be on questions like that posted here, but I spaced on even checking my own thread, sorry about that Vode.  I'll try to check this at least once a day from now on, even if it's not in the recent posts  *which is what I was doing*

About new RPGs, I'd love to have a Mando RPG sometime, but again, my brain is being streached working on my current project.  However, if one of you here would like to suggest something, I'd be more then happy to work with you on it, and you can post it under your name

Ok clan,  got another question for those who care to answer :D  I'm currently reading the Bounty Hunter Wars books and I have gotten to a part in Slave Ship, where Kuat of Kuat is describing how he made specifications and built slave I for Boba.  I thought Boba is using the same Slave I that Jango had.  am I missing something, or is Boba Fett's Slave I an entirely different ship, built directly for him?

That was written before Ep II, before we knew so much about the Fetts.  The author made that up trying to write come up with Boba's history on his own.  Now after Ep II you have to take books like that and pick out the parts like that as non-canon, and in somecases the whole book.

Ok people, trying not to double post, but the topic is dying, so I'm here to bring it back (again :P )
Got a funny idea for an RPG, but don't know all the specifics.  Goes something like Fett, or other character of choice, crash lands on Earth.  Yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds, but it could be pretty good with some work.  If anyone thinks it would be a cool idea, then I'll try and work on it some more  :D  any feed back would be appreciated, good or bad.

My suggestion for RPG ideas was meant to spur discussion and improvment before they were posted, but if ideas are getting stolen then maybe it's not such a good idea. 

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt this time, Green.  But if another idea that starts here suddenly shows up in one of your RPGs without the permission of the original creator, I'm going to be VERY unhappy about it

And it is a good idea, CA.  Sorry again for not checking the posts here.  Maybe we could have worked on it before the idea got posted *still can if you like; Green's idea might die or could shift, as I was trying to talk him into making it more like War of the Worlds, with us *BFFC members* fighting aliens that land.* 

Here's an idea from me.  What about a real Medieval setting?  Could be one side against another *neighbering kings/barrons or whatever* with a wildcard faction thrown in *Vikings or the like*   With all the Oblivion and Fantasy RPGs, I thought it might be refreshing to get things 'real' again.  Any thoughts/suggestions?
