cool man im gonna compete with my costume in the least exspensive cause i just finished mine yesterday!!!!!
Devin, great! Glad one of the four caught your eye. We definitely want to serve the professional and amateur costumer together.

Great idea! I can't enter as I have no Fett-related costumes. But it's still really cool! Will we get to see the pictures people send in? Or do we only get to see the winners?

Like all our contests, every submission is presented, as long as it's relevant and appropriate. :)
aaron@bobafettfanclub.com
so if we can't do Boba, we can do something like Grand Admiral Thrawn as long as we put somewhere that it relates with the BFFC?
Rule #1: Your costume must be Boba Fett related, even if just a little.
Rule #10: You must provide at least 1 picture that has reference to "BFFC," "The Boba Fett Fan Club," "BobaFett.com" or "BobaFettFanClub.com." It doubles as proof that you're the owner, or close to the owner, of the costume and submitting an entry for this contest. It's also the only barrier to entering the contest.

so what about Grand Admiral Thrawn choking a paper cut-out of Boba?
If only I had the motivation and the supplies to do this.
Does it have to be a Boba only or can it be a custom Mandalorian (Since those are technically inspired by Boba Fett =D )

If only I had the motivation and the supplies to do this.
If only i had the motivation to type what you just did, so instead im gona use yours as a quote and say "Same Here" two lines down
Same Here

@ Sev and Adeptus: The motivation is the prizes we're giving away, plus the acclaim of being a winner in one of four categories, one of which caters to low-cost, clever ideas.
@ Novall: Mandalorians are definitely OK! Spread the word.
@ Fett_II: How about Thrawn when he had the Jodo Kast helmet? Feel free to send in the paper Boba; we'll see. The field's wide open.

TaglarDreskk, thanks for asking. It helps to give a shout out.
We're finalizing our decision on the 4 different contests and looking at securing the 4 different prizes, or relevant equivalents at EntertainmentEarth.com.
I hope to have the whole shebang posted this coming weekend. Unlike other contests, there's just me running the show here, and this is certainly a sideline project for me. ;-)
Thanks.

Ok, no problem. Was just getting a little worried cause I hadn't seen any updates. Thanks! Good luck to everyone!
And the winners are...

Awesome, I think the most creative was very very well deserved :D

Yay! I'm glad the kid won. (Cost effective) It was adorable.
And why Durge??? Ugh, I can't stand Durge. And besides, if Durge hates Mandalorians.... what's one doing winning a contest for Mandalorians? Not saying it's not a bad costume, cause it's really well done and looks great.

Yup... I'm bringing this thread back... Jacob got his prize today, and we just wanted to say thanks. He is very happy with it. It really made his day. :)
Good afternoon,
I am loathe to bring this up publicly, but I still have not received my prize.
I have contacted BFCC Admin Aaron a number of tymes on the matter, sending my address twice and then responding the same day to a request verifying my address. The last I heard back was on the 2nd of August, 2008 with the address verification request.
Now I see another winner has received their honours and I have to wonder if there is a problem.
(click for June DURGE 2008 gallery)
I'll thank the BFFC staff for clearing this matter up in advance.
Be well,
Thomas
Thomas,
The prize "EE Exclusive Star Wars Elite Forces of the Republic" is no longer in stock. I'd like to replace it with one of greater value, the Boba Fett Kotobukiya Statue, which is on back-order but not out of stock at EntertainmentEarth.com (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=DH15199).
Please confirm and the order will be placed.
Aaron
aaron@bobafettfanclub.com
Ah.
Thank you for your diligent attention. I knew a little friendly dialogue would clear this up.
I'll post images when the bounty arrives.
Be well,
Thomas
Wow. That's a nice trade up. I actually saw all the bounty hunter Kotobukiya in person. The Boba Fett one looks way better up close.
Sholdn't this topic be closed by now? I mean, its almost a year old, and the event happend a year ago sooooo...
It's been less than a month since the last 4 messages, Karson. That's quite active, given that all of them are relevant and on topic.
aaron@bobafettfanclub.com
But its something almost a year old...sir...why don't you have a '08 contest?
Despite being old, it's still ON topic.. There was a question about the prize, and people are still leaving comments on last year's winners.
what's the problem?
