Yep...everybody loves the guy.

Hmmm, saw him on TV once, got both his arms cut off by some guy in a red coat...

Yah that's the main character :), And that's why I only have the first manga because my mom seen that it was too violent

It gets worse as the story progresses, but for the most part a very good series.
The guy in the red cloak is Alucard. If need be, we still have the hellsing fans discussion as well stored somewhere.
