Sorted by oldest to newestIt is out? That is awesome! How much does it cost? I was going to preorder it, but I think it came to about six dollers. I thought it would be cheaper to wait and buy it. Anyways, it sounds awesome!
$3; I got mine at a bookstore.

Thank you. My friendly neighborhood comic book store should have it. He usually has a lot of Star Wars comics.
Well, I've read it now...and I think it's boring as heck. (Hate to be so negative.) How about you all?

Wht happens in it?

You shouldn't have posted that it was that boring, now nobody on here will get it and this topic will be quite dead.

Actually, I was hoping that the boring comment would be a good way to start a debate on the topic. And just because I thought it was boring doesn't mean anyone else would. After all, I'm a girl, and if there's no character building in the comic it just doesn't do anything for me. This one was basically all mass destruction.
It's about some imps hiring Boba to put a planet in line, but since he's too good at what he does, they figure out that hiring him was "overkill." It's really more about the Imps than it is about Boba (he only has a few lines in the whole thing) and it's really short anyway. I don't know why it's a Boba one-shot. It would fit better in the Empire line.

I haven't read it, so I'm relying on you guys to tell me how it was. It sounds kinda sucky though if there isn't much Boba in it. D=
I am still trying to find it, but there is no such thing as overkill, only point, shoot, and reload.
I would still encourage people to buy it, just because the art's nice, but as for the plot it's lacking. I wouldn't want anyone to buy it expecting something like Twin Engines or Open Seasons, and then be horribly disappointed. It's about the same plot quality as the last Empire comic he was in (the one with no talking until the end), maybe slightly better.

Draco, you can find it at Things From Another World, a BFFC-approved outlet.

It was ok.... But the same day I bought The Revenge of Tag & Bink (Special Edition) and loved it 10 times more :P
"Look out! It's BOO-BOO!"
LOL
I found revenge of Tag and Bink kind of insulting to Boba. No way is he gonna get knocked out by a simple club to the back of the head.

Thank you very much!
I read it as well...and agree, it wasn't as exciting as it could have been. It really is more about the Imperials than anything else.

Well, in Jedi he was almost knocked out by a simple bump to the head against a sail barge.
Balance Sheet, I'm glad it's not just me. It seems like every day my attention span gets shorter and shorter.

Just read overkill, it was actually pretty good, I thought.
I plan to read it soon. It sounds really awesome.

I know this topic is pretty old but I just got overkill
It's lacking in plot no doubt, it would have worked out better as a three part or two.
The art is fair, Boba's speeder seems a little small.
Although it took me a while to understand why Boba was destroying everything in sight, for a moment I thought it was an impersonator or something like that. My friend read it and exclaimed"WOW! They brought back Jodo Kast!"

I found all the distruction rather entertaining.
Although it took me a while to understand why Boba was destroying everything in sight....
Oh, maybe I should read it again, because I didn't think that there was a reason for it. I just thought it was supposed to be ironic or funny.

Dig the art. Thought the story was ok but pointless.
Boba was hired by the Empire to clean the operation up, basically he did the job to the point, besides why would Boba destroy countless numbers of equipment and kill how many people if he wasn't getting paid for it?

Yeah, i guess he was a bit out of character.
