Topic: Master Replica's Scaled Boba Fett helmet

Well, mine came in the mail today and I have to say I was sort of disappointed.  Maybe I didn't really pay attention to it at the Comic Con this year, because I was trying to get some good pics of the full size helmet, so I didn't really get a real good look at it.  Anyway, aside from a little bit of color differences (very little) it's the EXACT same helmet as the one that Riddell put out several years ago.  And I mean, EXACT.  It has the same detail on the inside and everything.  The only real difference is the stand for it.  That's it!! 

Don't get me wrong.  It's a great piece, but if you already have one of the old Riddell helmets from a few years ago, don't waste your money on this one.  Good thing it was only $50 or so.  I don't have the heart to send mine back, though, just because I'm a completest when it comes to Fett collecting (admitting you have a Fett collecting problem is the first step....so they say).

If you don't have one of the old Riddell helmets, then this may be for you, since the Riddell helmet's are getting kind of scarce to find nowadays.  Plus, the base is a little better on the Master Replica's one.

Just out of curiosity, did Master Replica's buy out Riddell or something or are they part of the same company.  They would had to have gotten the rights to make this from Riddell at some point.

I'm still waiting for mine to come (Pre-ordered off a site called Play.com ,they haven't had the stock yet :( )

I never got hold of the Riddell version, so i can't wait for this one :D

And Sadriel you're right, i admit i've got a fett collecting problem, Doesn't stop me looking on Ebay everyday!! :D :D

I ordered it straight form master replicas. It should come in sooner or later. Also after christmas I might have enough money to buy the real one!!! MUAHAHAHA
