I first saw ANH before I can remember, my mom told me that. But the first time I can really remember seeing ANH and ESB, I was 6. And I loved them. I didn't see ROTJ till the SEs. TPM was in 2000, when I was 13. And AOTC and ROTS I saw in theaters.

I saw bits and pieces of the trilogy when I was very young. Then I saw Episode 1, then 2, then 3, then 4,then 5, and finally 6. And I still remember when I first saw Boba Fett.

Does this mean you consider SW lovers nerds? I would argue otherwise if that's what you mean. My mom never really got into it, but my dad loved it when he was a kid and secretly (i believe) still has a great love for it.

Nah, fanatic sounds obsessive.  Personally, I think nerd is a compliment.

I saw parts of Return of the Jedi when I was really little, but I didn't see the whole trilogy until I was 10 (the special editions)

I remember seeing Star Wars (the original one in the '70;s) for the first time when I was six years old.  It had just come out and was at the drive-in theater.  I remember it was a double feature.  After Star Wars, they played the Bad News Bears (again, the original Walter Mathau version).  Pretty good stuff.  I tell you though, watching it in the theater (Special Edition) really beats watching it with those little speakers you had to hang in the windows of your car at the drive-ins back in the day.

I had seen bits and pieces on tv and vhs. Then the special editions came out when I was around 7 or 8. My dad took me to see all of them. From the first "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..." I was hooked.

There's only one Return, and it ain't of the King... It's of the Jedi.

I first saw ANH when the special editions came out and then empire and then jedi. From the first scene in Jedi with fett till his supposed death in Jedi, he was my favorite.

The first time I saw ANH was when the Special Editions came out in theaters.  So I couldn't have been older than 11. I was kind of forced to see it, at the time not liking Star Wars *grins sheepishly* but after I saw it, I found out I liked it...and here I am.

i saw the OT when i was 7 and they were horrible since theyb weren't the Remastered versions i thought they were cheesy but loved them.

The OT unremastered was a piece of art. When porkins died that was a real explosion filmed somewhere. Not a CGI rendering. Something actually exploded.

SF is what life is all about.

I thought I'd answered this one, but apparently not. I think I actually saw ROTJ first. I was about five, maybe younger. I loved the Ewoks. Probably saw the other films first but I can't remember.

Mind you when I did see them all I thought it so unfair that Luke didn't get the girl. But it would have been gross since she was his sister. :P

I was about 4 years old when STAR WARS came to the theaters in the small town in Iowa where I grew up.
I can still remember the impression the Lightsaber left on my young and very impressionable imagination. My family tried in vain to convince me that they weren't real, but to this day I still bear a grudge against Santa Claus for bringing me fake-ass TOY Lightsabers instead of the real thing as I demanded.
I made my father take me to see it. I made my mother take me. I made my grandparents take me. I went with cousins, and I went with friends. Later that year I started Kindergarten and it's all we talked about.
I know for a fact that from "EMPIRE STRIKES BACK" to "REVENGE OF THE SITH" I was at a theater on opening night.
One of the aforementioned cousins I grew up watching them with later attended M.I.T. and is now a resident chemist for Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He is working hard to come up with a working real-life Lightsaber... at least, that's what he tells me.

The first time I was introduced to a SW movie was when I was when I was five or six. Or maybe seven. I only saw from Dagobah on, but I decided that it was my favorite movie. (That lasted all of one month!) The first time I really saw SW was Valentine's Night in 2001. My Dad created a monster! :) :D  And wasn't my mom happy about that!!

I saw ANH when I was 5 I think.  dad's a SW geek like me, and he likes Fett too.  I couldn't convince him to join the boards though.....

Due to maintenance problems, the light at the end of the tunnel will not be in operation today. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I was 2.  In fact, my very first memory is of the line of X-wings locking their S-foils.

I too saw the special edition ANH when it came to theaters. My dad started me on Star Wars with that movie even though I don't remember it at all, guess something as good as SW just sticks to ya whether you remember it or not
