Perhaps I've been previously unobservant, but tonight I was watching Ep II (it was on the TV amazingly) and as I watched the scene where Obi-Wan and Anakin go to fight Dooku I noticed an inconsistency. When the trooper ship drops them off, two troopers disembark with Obi-Wan and Anakin before the ship flies away for a moment, then is destroyed. Next thing you see is Obi-Wan and Anakin run in after Dooku. But where are the two troopers?
I'm guessing the troopers must have found something to do. Surely you think they would have tampered with Dooku's ship or shot some of his lankies, but they just disappear. I'll have to dig up the novel of Ep II and see if the troopers are at all mentioned. It'd be interesting to see.

They do it like this:
"Sir Jedi, we'll cover you while you fight Dooku!" the first one says.
"From over here!" the other one continues.
Then they sit down and play a game, like chess or maybe they just take off their helmets and drink a beer.
