Topic: Been gone a long time.

Hey everyone...I know this is the third or fourth time I've done this for anyone who remembers, I just want to give an update on what I'm up to.
I had no internet connection over the summer, ergo, was unable to post much.  I've been back on decent internet for about a month now, but I'm sad to say, I've been moving on to other sites and haven't stopped by to comment on anything in a long while.
Partly because I've had a falling out with Star Wars in general after the mediocre new novels and my discontent with Karen Traviss's handling of the Mandalorians, and Troy Denning's ineptitude...
And also because, if anything, I'm trying to focus on improving my artistic abilities by joining art-focused sites...not to say I don't miss you guys a lot.  But the spammage and inane topics were kinda getting to me. 
So I'll try to stop by now and then and say hi, maybe comment on a relevant topic.  But for the most part, I'll be leaving the BFFC until I have sufficient free time between classes and work, and the expanded universe takes a turn for the better and reintroduces authors who actually know how to write well...all the same, I'll miss you guys. 
I'll be back someday. ;)

It's not to say you haven't done an amazing job maintaining this place Aaron, your dedication and commitment are inspiring. :) I just favor more of a hard-line approach with repeat offenders who threaten stability...
All the same, I'll try to stop by now and then, but I'm going to be very sparse for about a year as I'm fairly busy...but hey, time flies fast.  I'll be back for good before you know it.  :)  It's nice to know I'm missed Maltese, Mel.  Hope you and the rest of the gang are doing well.

BalanceSheet, as menacing as Boba Fett might be, The Boba Fett Fan Club is deliberately welcoming and will never hard-line individuals. We also value forgiveness towards the younger and the otherwise passionate fans.

I haven't had much time to post here either. Unfortunately, I've been focusing on other things besides SW & Boba Fett...

Yeah, that was a little agrivating, but he was just......*attempts to think of a ok discription* hyper, i guess. Those other guys were just annoying.

Ah, I've been in an artistic slump of sorts lately... I'm trying to focus on drawing from life, since that's what my college class is about. So I haven't been doing SW art recently, unfortunately. But yeah, I'd love to see your latest art when you get the chance!

I totally understand how these things go. Its practically my life story. I'm not around as much as I would like to be somtimes. Life has a way of getting in the way.

Manji, I too am in a life drawing class and it's time consuming. Plus you add to that Photography and Ceramic classes, working, and starting your own buisness and time just flies away from you.  That all aside I admire anyone who likes the act of drawing and would love to see your work, SW related or not. I'm not all that techno savvy and don't really know how or what to do with my art online otherwise I'd be more than happy to but my money where my mouth is about being in art school. (Although my empty bank account is a good testiment.)

Life drawing?  I had to sit through three seperate classes that were all basically the same on life drawing.  :(  It's a pain in the rear, but it helps you memorize proportions and whatnot, so you do it instinctively.
