Anybody else get Halo 3? Me and BD got the Halo 3 Xbox 360!! its awesome. Costco Wholesale has a Halo 3 Package going right not for 500$ and its awesome.

Dude, Halo 3 is so awesome. Alot better then the second one. The second one was lame. The weapons are awesome. Master Chief looks amazing. Its great. buy it if you can, its the best of all of them.

having played halo3-it is a fun game, but hardly the game of the year, IMO. graphics during gameplay r pretty tight, but the cut scene grafix r doo doo.
im having fun with campaign. multiplayer is so-so. again IMHO
but i have never been a huge FPS fan.

My brother got Halo 3. He stayed up all night playing it. He was still at it when I went to work at 5:00 in the morning. If any of you have beaten it yet, let me say this: My brother beat it and I had to just stop and laugh and laugh and laugh at him. Sorry to any Halo fans, but I think it's kinda hilarious personally, but I do feel kinda sorry for you fans, how horrible.

How does one's armor change is space so much anyway? Kind of creepy.

I got the limited edition Console and game. Multiplayer is awsome, and also beat Co-op Campaign on normal in 6 hours. Fun fun. Haven't tried it on Legendary, but I'm betting it's suicide. The ending is confusing.

everybody, when you beat the game, do not press A or w/e. watch through the credits, there are two movies after them. oh my friend beat it on Legendary from 8:00PM to 12:00AM last night.

since this is a thread about halo 3 I assume its okay to talk about the ending of halo 2 without having to give a spoilder warning. What exactly do you see when you beat halo 2 on legendary? I havent noticed any different clips

If you mean between Halo and Halo 2, It didnt, His armor was replaced when he got to Cairo Station.

Yeah my brother and his friend beat it in 4 hours. The main reason I was laughing, btw. I mean, it took me 50 hours to beat Twilight Princess, and that was me rushing through it.

I still feel shiver's when I watch that trailer....

I am so jelous! I want I want I want this. It's quite high on the top of my list of stuff to get. But alas  I have no 360 to play it on. Nor do I have the Live that would make it perfect. Have fun!!!
Ps. If I didn't allready know Milba was a girl I'd know for sure now. Its my understanding that most chicks hate the Halo series and many video games, especially when their guys spend hours playing. It's ok I'm not meaning anything bad by this, I'm just saying.

i do. i have it.
it looks nice, the customization is unreal and i dig the matchmaking system. but "gears" converted me. its more tactical and that speaks to my sneaky nature.
i could go on but its all opinion...
but to answer- ur not alone valthonin.

I love playing Halo, but I have to say I enjoy playing Battlefield 2 and Rainbow Six more, just because you don't have shields, so you can't go charginig blindly into someplace and hope you don't get killed.  And I love explosives.  I'm with Cujo on the sneaky part.  I love planting those little C4 charges in Rainbow.  Especially now that you can duck behind walls and barriers, so you can hide behind something, but still be able to see where you planted your charge. 

However, nothing brings more satisfaction as when someone's talking smack on Halo after he's just killed you, and then realizes too late that you put a sticky grenade on him right before he took you out.  Yes, Karma is indeed a harsh mistress.

I love playing video games, and my bf plays them a lot and I don't mind. My thing with Halo is kinda stupid really. I tried to play the first one and ran myself into a wall and couldn't get off and ended up getting dizzy-sick from the camera spinning. It wasn't till recently that someone explained that was cause I wasn't using the controller right. My hands are tiny (no really, my sister who's 13-years-old has bigger hands than mine), and back then I was using the huge controllers and I couldn't figure out how to use it.

i played multiplayer at my friends house now i have HALO 3 FEVER!!!! i pwned them with the sniper, mongoose and HORNET!!!!

I hate the way they tweaked the sniper rifles for Halo 3.  You can't fire them as fast as you could in Halo 2.  Makes it harder to snipe.  And the sound of the Assault rifles are different from Halo 1.  Although, I'm glad they put those back into the game.  I wasn't a big fan of the Battle rifles. 

I also noticed they took away the vulnerability on the Covenant Ghosts.  You can't shoot the fuel tank on the left side and instantly blow it up.  That was the best part of sniping on Coagulation.  Waiting for someone to run up to get on, and then shoot the Ghost's fuel tank and take them both out with one shot. 

Is it me, or is it also harder to destroy the vehicles now?

Oh ok thank god, i thought i was gonna be murdered here. But yea there is very little tactics invilved in the game and thats the main reason. Also, multiplayer is just way too repetative. Its the same routine and i got sick of the game after playing for like 4 weeks. havent tried 3 tho, but i doubt it will be much better. For a game like Halo you might as well play 007 Goldeneye for the N64(one of the greatest games ever if not THE greatest....but Zelda: Ocarina of Time beats it) The shield system is nice but it just takes the strategy out of the game completely.

Sadriel, yea I really cant stand the battle rifles. Thats a big flaw for me in Halo 2. How can you have a game like that and NOT have an assault rifle with full auto? Three round bursts are just not my thing in multiplayer, in single player its ok.

I know what you mean. There is no stratagey, But I wouldent have a 360 if it wasnt for Halo. because i wouldent have an xbox. I love halo. and I love gears. Im like that.

ah, i quite dislike halo now. just because everyone else here in NY goes crazy over it. plus it really just bores me.

If you think it's hard to be stealthy in Halo 3, you should see the video I have. Oh my god. I'll send it via LIVE if you want to see it. It was pure ownage. And I skipped the credits...soo I'll have to look into that.

it seems most here have an x360 so I'll ask you guys for some assistance since microsoft is to stuck up to help. I activated my gold acount on x360 to play halo3 online, then I go onto win vista to play halo2 and it switched my acount back to silver and that pissed me right the hell off.

is this a flaw ofusing both win-live and xbox live?, Will it be $60 down the drain every time I want to play halo2 on the computer? I know most of you have never used windows live, but its exactly the same as xbox live in every way except on the computer AND DEATH TO MICROSOFT they're seriously to money hungry and rip you off every change they get.

i have never heard of anything like that. if you activated the account with a card(credit/microsoft points) you should be able to retrieve that transaction and sort it out.

...and yes microsoft is a bastard-but one that provides much entertainment.

I'm a big halo fan myslef, and I disagree with claims that there is no strategy involved. While of course it is not a ghost recon like stratgey, but it is strategy none the less. Rushing head first with all your teamates into an enemy base will easily get you all killed.

I for one actually think it is alot more fun than sneaking around like in Splinter Cell and such games. And there are more moments in halo where you can yell to your friends, "OMG did you just see that?! How did that just happen!!"
