I've been listening too a few more bands on Youtube, and Motley Crue and Motorhead are both good. Joan Jett and Iggy Pop are great. I wish I lived in the United Kingdom; Motorhead and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts are Alice Cooper's opening acts there.

EDIT: This is actually TheGunslinger. I keep accidentally posting as my brother, because this computer doesn't like to let us log out. Grrrr.

It's scary, looking back through these posts, how drastically my taste in music has changed over only one year.

Revised list:

Breaking Benjamin
Thousand Foot Krutch
Disturbed
Saliva
Fair to Midland (Dance of the Manatee!)
Rise Against

...And then there's Bon Jovi and Billy Joel.

I think this is a bit off topic, but;

I saw Alice Cooper live! Black Sabbath and Queensryche were also there. I was in the second row, but I was standing next to the stage most of the time. I caught a pick, an "Alice Cooper dollar," and a fake pearl neckless, and my mom caught another pick!

Anyways, my favorite bands:

-Alice Cooper
-Black Sabbath
-Motörhead
-Dio
-Iron Maiden
-Megadeth
-Black Label Society
-Rob Zombie
-White Zombie
-Judas Priest
-Metallica
-Mötley Crue
-Joan Jett & the Black Hearts
-the Runaways
-Iced Earth
-Ozzy Osbourne
-Heaven and Hell
-Manowar
-Iggy Pop
-Girlschool
-Headgirl
-Johnny Cash
-Willie Nelson

The New Wave of British Heavy Metal, First Wave of Black Metal, and thrash metal band Venom is great. So are fellow NWOBHM bands Witchfinder General (who are more doom metal than the speed metal that characterizes most NWOBHM bands), Witchfynde, Angel Witch, and Diamond Head.

Other First Wave of Black Metal bands that rock include Celtic Frost, Bathory, Hellhammer, and Slayer.

Led Zepplin, Lita Ford, the Stooges, Fight, Halford, Pantera, Down, Viking Crown, Superjoint Riyual, Razor White GWAR, Lordi, and Scum of the Earth are also cool.

I used to be all country.  Still listen to it, but I've expanded my boundries a LOT in the last couple years.  Even with country, I don't like just anything done by a cirtain artist; I love cirtain songs (yeah, I'm hard to please with my music   :P )

Favorite country singer would be. . .  either Dwight Yokum, George Strait, or Toby Kieth; like most everything from them (except a lot of the latest stuff from Kieth).

Favorite country song would be from the Mavericks, 'What a Crying Shame'

Best non-country?  Like some of what I hear from Linkon Park; and Godsmack's 'I Stand Alone' is in my top 3

But favorite song is 'Red Tape' by Agent Provocateur  (anybody out there see the Bruce Willis movie 'The Jackal'?).  Really crazy song; I'm not even sure what gener it is.  Love it for some reason though  :P

My old Favorite is finally releasing a new album, "Float", Flogging Molly of course. So it'll be the first album I buy in a while.

Otherwise I'm still with Oldies and J-pop.

I'll abdicate at the drop of a hat

I have all the Star Wars tracks, Hellboy, VanHelsing, Kingdom of Heaven, Underworld-Evolution, 300 (my favorite), the track from the first Lord of the Rings movie, and several others

I'm actually  not a big Modest Mouse fan, but rather like the rest of your faves. I think most of them are on my Ipod at least. Love Death Cab for Cutie. Its good chill/ cuddle stuff too.

If you like those guys you might also like Snow Patrol and Sufjan Stevens.
