Topic: Your Mand'alor beckons

((I think it's Old Republic, shortly after Malachor.))

"It's just like reattaching an organic limb, except I have to intergrate your nerves with the synthetic nerves so you can move it just as you would your old arm, which may take awhile. You may feel discomfort and tingling in your upper arm afterwards, as your body adjusts to having an artificial. The discomfort should last for about a week, but the tingling may never go away." Solus went about cleaning and prepping herself as she explained the procedure to Kal'ak.

"Any other questions?" She asked, snapping a rubber glove onto her hand.

(alright, i kept my helmet on the Stealth Core, but didn't take it with me on the Lightspeed. I'm in exile on Hoth. Don't kill me, but i've decided. you can kill my Rodian bounty hunter friend, Krado. DO NOT DAMAGE THE SHIP OR KILL MY OTHER FRIEND (or me.)! savvy?)

"Will the arm move like an organic arm would instantly, or will it need to adjust?" Kal'ak asked, he didnt want his arm to move jerkily with out him knowing it would. He was slightly nervous, not knowing what could happen if somthing went wrong.

"For the next twenty-four hours you may experience spasms, but nothing too bad. It should be completely gone in fourty-eight hours." Solus gestured to the table. "Lay down and I'll get that arm on you. There's no need to worry, you're in capable hands." Solus gave him a reassuring grin.

(Unless you intend to redeem yourself somehohis rp, it doesn;t matnue tw and contter if you die.  The character is still useable in other RPs.  Raj'el has died several times, in diffrent time periods, sometimes not even in a Star Wars story.  I'll do my best though.)

Raj'el dialed the comm system.:

"The YVHs have located the jedi. He's hinding on hoth.  We'll be there in a few hours, so i suggest you get ready.:

On Hoth....

:The YVH hunter-killer droids are just now landing outside Joda Kast's cave/hut/whatever he's sleeping in.:

(I assume you've been training, Joda.  They'll be tough, but for the sake of the story, I can't let them kill you.)

(Who has a problem with Joda joining the group, if he can defeat Kalak and Raj'el one-on-one in Battle Circle type matches without the use of the force?  He would have redeemed his honor, Jedi or not.)

Kal'ak leaned back, and started thinking. There wasnt much else to do. Once his arm was attached, he would go to the armory, but he wouldent do any training, he didnt want to hurt anybody, or himself if his arm spasmed. He tried to think what he would do when he found the jedi.

(ummm...question: can i use my lightsaber against you guys or is that a "no weapons" battle all around? oh, and i started my own rpg. :D )

as the droids landed outside the cave Jodo Kast was meditating in, he sprung into action! igniting his lightsaber in midair, he slashed through one of the droids and used the Force to knock another down. "Two down, more to go." Jodo's signature catchphrase echoed throughout the cave behind them. He didn't have much time before the major snowstorms of the season hit. as he cut through the droids one by one, he realized that the four Mandalorians were coming to him. they wouldn't have much time.

Kal'ak was bored, he hoped the medic would be done soon. Out of his boredom, he had been telling stupid jokes for the past four minuets.

"Almost done. I just nedd to...connect...this here and...there, all set." She said, straightening. "See if you can move it okay. If you need anything, just tell me."

Kal'ak stands, and tests his arm. "It works well. However, theres one test. I need to test the lightsaber resistance. Thank you." He went to see if Raj'el would let him use his lightsaber.

(Raj'el loves hitting things.)

Raj'el was sitting in the pilots seat when Kal'ak walked in. "Raj'el i need to see if the arm is lightsaber resitant. Because your the only one with a lightsaber, could you test it for me?" "It should be, but sure." Raj'el stood, and drew his lightsaber, Kal'ak hel his arm out. With a quick hum and a flash of light Raj'el struck the arm, right at the elbow. The arm didn't fall. "My thanks, which way is the galley, I could use some food."

Talos walked in to the bridge, carrying a few choice pieces of Mando/Sith/Verpine tech. "Cool arm" he said to Kal'ak.

(Personality: Think Sev. but less sadistic)
"All the better to strangle you with." Kal'ak grinned. After that drink he was heading to the armory. He needed to see what was in stock.

"I already got all the good stuff out of the armory' yelled Talos down the hall as Kal left.

Solus finished cleaning up the Med Bay. She was glad that he was happy with his arm...at least she hoped he was. She went out, and saw that he seemed to be using and enjoying his arm. She grinned, proud of a job well done.

Kal'ak was in the armory, he had his armor on now. He felt more comfortable in it anyways. He took a staff from the wall, and pressed a button on it. blades sprung out from the sides, makeing it a double bladed sword. He took this, and decided to see what everybody else was up to.

(hoth) Kal'ak walked into the bridge, and sat down. "How long till you think we get there?" he asked, as his arm twitched slightly.

Solus glanced up from where she was sitting. "Don't ask me, I'm not the one piloting." She absently picked at the arm of her chair.

Kal'ak left momentarily, and when he came back, he had a bottle of corrilian ale. He sat down in an empty seat, and took a drink, his new right arm twitching slightly. "So, what do we do when get there, beside killing the jedi, I mean."
(No, we wont kill you, well let you challenge us, for your life or whatever)

"Freeze our shebs off that what we do," Solus said, glancing at the bottle. "You know, that stuff's not good for you. Destroys your liver faster than regular ale and can give you one nasty stomach ulcer."

"I'm proably half dead anyways, losing my arm didn't help. Most of my bones have been broken at one time or another. Anyways, every now and then, I like to have some of this. Not freqently, but after the earlier events," Kal'ak said "I think I could use this"  Kal'ak lifted the bottle slightly, and his new arm clenched. He was glad he had the bottle in his left hand.

Talos fiddled with some Verpine tech, A Verpine visor to be precise. He put it to his eyes. "Wow" he said. "This stuff is great! I can see in infared, night vision, and a coulple others i dont even know!". He put the visor down and picked up an implant. "Hey, Solus, do you think you could implant one of these in me?" he asked.

Kal'ak grined, "Maby I should get one of those, then I just need to lose another limb, and I could be like that HK unit Raj'el has"  he took another swig of his drink. "I have some stuff like that in my helmet. I dont use it much though." Kal's arm shakes violently, hitting the side of his chair. "Hope that dosnt go on for long..."

Solus looked at Talos. "Yeah, I can. Go to Med bay, I'll be there shortly." She told him.

She grinned at Kal'ak's grinned at the HK reference. "I actually admire the mechanics of that HK. He's well built." She then looked at his arm. "Yeah, that's twitcher than I thought it would be. It should be completely gone in a couple days. It'll subdue by tomorrow."

She then got up and made her way towards Med Bay.

(They would be whatever you wanted, because your the challenger.  Just no Force.)

:RAj'el left the droids to run the ship to hoth, and joined the others in the med bay.  His helmet was off, as was most of his armor.  His chest piece remained, immovable. He saw the ale, and ordered one for himself from the droids.:

"Good stuff.  There's stronger out there, and when your liver is mechanical, you don't have to worry about it."

:He took a swig, studied the bottle, and saw Talos with the Verpine visor.:

"I can do everything that does with this eye.  You don't want the implant unless it's neccesary.  More hasle than it's worth."

:He took another swig.:

"We'll be there in an hour or two.  Find cold weather gear, or have the droids build enviro controls into your armor.  It's winter on hoth, and the YVHs didn't do so well."

"Already have the enviroment controls in mine, I was going to tatooine, when my ship was ambushed." Kal'ak said. "Why Tatooine?" Talo asked, "I was hunting a Kyrat Dragon. I was going to kill it, with my hands. But thats besides the point. Were heading to Hoth. Watch out for Wampas."

"Wampas?  I'd rather worry about Jedi, if it's all the same for you."

:He took another swing from his ale:

"You were gonna kill a Krayt with your hands?  Are you dumb?"

"It's been phrased as such." Kal'ak said grinning, "Its realy all about speed, I just needed to get in its back, then stab it's eye with my vibroblade.And, anyways, I think a Wampa has more honor then the jedi does" Kal'ak's arm twitched, and he took a swig of his ale. "One man's idiot is another man's hero" he said.

Talo picked up a Zarbrak Blaster cannon and showed it to Kal. This can blast threw six inches of durasteel, it can definatly cut threw a wampa. I think I'll be ok."

"Will you shut up?" said Solus. "I'm trying work."

"Besides, the cold will get you before the Wampa does." Solus added. "Just a word of warning: Don't get between a Mother Wampa and her babies. I don't want to have to write up any death certificates, except for a certain Jedi's that is."

"Well, we'll be putting down close to where he is, so neither should be a problem."

:The ship begins to decelerate, exiting hyperspace above hoth.:

"Get ready to land.  We're here."

Talos suited up in everything he thought he needed. "I'm ready!" he said.

(the implant i just got enables me to think, and act much quicker than normal. And my suit has environmental controls)

"Then get to your ships, and pray he doesn't have ground-to-space cannons."

:He got into his Cloakshape and blasted out of his hangar, to land only a few meters from the cave where the YVH droids had last transmitted.:

"Seeing as my ships still sitting on Taris, guess im heading planet-side with you then." Kal'ak said to Talo. "Lets get a move on, dont want Raj'el to have all the fun."

Solus activated her thermal inner suit and took her weapons. "Well, I'm ready. Just lead the way."

(Now we wait for Joda to post.  Hopefully he does.)

Talos, Kal and Solus rushed, to the Shadows Hand. Talos picked up his weapons on the way. Reaching the Hand they blasted out of the hanger and whent planet side.

"If it wasnt for the atmosphere, and gravity I'd jump out." Kal'ak said. "Im going over to the ramp, I want to be first off." Kal'ak moved to the ramp, and prepared to get out as soon as they touched down.

((I know we're supposed to wait for Jodo, but I just want to keep this moving so it doesn't go stale, you know?))

"You know, hearing how cold it is here and actually experiencing are totally different things," Solus commented, upping her thermal suit to it's highest setting as she felt the blast of cold air from the open ramp. She made sure to step back though, letting Kal'ak go first like he wanted.

(I would still be waiting....but if i do. this topic may be forgoten or somthing. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JODO POST!!!)
Kal'ak stepped into the snow, looking around. "Ok. Raj'el which way is he?" Kal'ak asked, the medals, braids, and cape (His armor is extremly simmaler to boba's minus the jetpack.) flaping in the sudden wind.

:Raj'el stepped out onto the tundra, the servos in his mechanical parts protesting against the sudden change in temperature.  His helmet on, the red glow of his droid eye was visible through his visor.:

"There's a cave about 100 meters straight ahead.  We can't see it because of the snow."

:He Switched to thermal vision, and could clearly see a body ahead, stark red against a sea of blue so dark it was almost black. He drew his sith tremor sword, not wanting to make noise with a lightsaber.:

"Let's move!  Melee weapons, blasters will be just short of useless."

Kal'ak activated his helmet's thermal setting. He saw the figure that could only be Jodo. He drew the sword, and began to run ahead of the others.
(Waiting for jodo..........................agian.
what no ones gona stop me????)

(not me im tryng to kill 'em too!)

(If he dies, he dies.  I'll come up with something else for them to do.  Jodo can live with the consequences of his inactivity.)

:Raj'el pulled a thermal detonator, activated, and checked it.:

"DUCK!"

Kal'ak didnt hear him. He was at the entrance of the cave that jodo was it, and he chraged in, swinging at the jedi. He was blocked, but he struck, repeatedly. Jodo's guard faltered. He paid for his mistake with his arm. Jodo's saber arm fell to the ground, and he screamed in pain, clutching at the wound. Kal'ak removed the other. Jodo screamed once more, and Kal'ak lowered his sword. He placed his hand on his opponet's helmet, and pulled it off. He stared down at  the jedi wordlessly, and raised his sword. The man's face was filled with fear, realizing that he had made a mistake, and he opend his mouth to talk. Kal'ak swept the sword downward, releving Jodo's shoulders of the head. He took the lightsaber, and the helmet, securing them to his belt, and lifted the body, begining to walk away.

(I'm assuming you figured that Kal'ak was in there, and chucked the grenade some where else, or disarmed it, or whatever.)

Talos watched approvingly as Kal'ak decapitated Jodo, and when Kal'ak was finished with him, Talos walked up to the headless corpse and started to fire rounds into intill it was a hunk of charred meat. Finishing, Talos Smiled and went to congratulate Kal'ak for his expert sword-manship.

"Well, that was a waste of perfectly good armor."

:Raj'el called the ship, ordering it to prepare for their return.:

"It's back to talos for any who wish to be part of something bigger than the hunt.  Mand'alor is back, and recruiting.  We can use every medic, bounty hunter, and vibro-blade weilding phsycopath we can get our hands on.

"What d'ya say?  Conquer the galaxy?"
