Well, Miba. I was about to write "HOLY CRAP GEORGE HAS LOST HIS MIND!" up on the screen, until I realized.... (Not wanting to take the fun out of this, I will hold back my thought).
Well.... I'm going to go check theforce.net to see what they're announcing today.

Lucas and a novel about the thing that gives the Jedi their power I assume?This is only gonna give the Jedi more spotlight...I hate that most non serious fans think that the hole frickin' galaxy revolves around the Jedi!!!AAAAAARRRGGGGHH!!!!

Dudes...it was an April Fool's Day joke. Don't panic. Willow didn't take place in the Star Wars universe.

:D I thought it was a great joke!! When I first saw it, though, the terror of it all made my mind go blank. I was numbly looking through the Recent News listings to see just when they had announced a release of them as a SW book when it hit me that that update was dated April 1st.

1. Do not insult other members, especially members who are no longer active.
2. This topic is long dead, and you did not revive it to add anything.
3. The entire Star Wars galaxy does not revolve around the Jedi, the films do.

as far as wookie hunters remark- all redicule aside, jedi r a big part but the larger part is well as the title might suggest "wars". and yeah the movie is essentially about the droids...they r the only characters in all the flicks.

I don't this whole thing gives the Jedi more spotlight so much as it just strips away any aura of mystery the Jedi once had. Therefore, I think it is a bad idea.

Everettj is right, plus they have symbiotic relationship with the Jedi and other force sensitive individuals. To me this means that they could not survive outside of a living organism, and thus not have their own location with in the galaxy.

I HATE april first. Last year some guy posted on this Republic Cammando web site that a sequel was coming out for Republic Commando, turns out it was an April fools joke
(the most twisted and evil April fools joke I have EVER seen)
