So what if he doesn't , he is a hero or antihero in his own right. It's not like any of those Mandalorian women would pass or damsels in distress.

The fact that there is so little said about him in the movies (OT), giving freedom for fans to imagine anything they want about the character - which is why, btw, I prefer my vision of Fett before the prequels came out, the rumors and suspicions were INSANE!

Mandalorians and clones: what would I do without them? :P Drawing Jedi and Sith, just like the gazillions of other fan artists out there. I like how effecient Fett is.  No matter what happens, he's always cold, calculating, and lethally efficient.  His armour, completely masking his features, also adds to his mystery, and gives him a general aura of cool-ness.  :)

Think about this: What one thing, if removed from the character of Boba Fett, would hurt your view of him the most?

In my opinion, the rockin' armor, if removed, would just kill the image we get when we hear "Boba Fett".

Definitely.  The helmet especially.  I would say the helmet is the most iconic part of Fett that everyone sees and immediately knows this person as Fett.

Jango killed a lot of jedi. Heck, Jango is one of the only major characters that we see kill a jedi in the movies.
really it was Mace that did him in.

Yeah the rest of the Jedi are killed by multitudes of clone soldiers or Sith not a "mere" bounty hunter.
It figures, though; he wastes some grunt Jedi and then faces the best swordsman in the galaxy.
Cosmic injustice :)

The "grunt Jedi" was a Jedi Master who sat on the council.  He obviously wasn't some grunt.

Very true.  You can do it with twin blasters like Jango uses; if you throw enough bolts at someone, they can't deflect them all.............................unless they send one back into your face

Jango's amature move diving for the lightsaber instead of shooting Mace in the arena battle was all on the writers/producers/Lucus; I almost write that part of the scene off as it's just not something he would have done.

Darn right he did!  So that does go to show some of Jango's skill.

I have always liked his atittude and his manerisms, the way he acts and the wa he goes about buissness. I respect him for his moral views as they are simular to mine in many way. To be honest I see alot of myself in him as cheesy at it sounds. Just the person he is and what little we know about him that is.

Interesting CG! I don't think I've really ever thought about Fett characteristics that I might have. I think most of us try to incorporate them into how we normally think, but stuff that already exists...very interesting perspective. Seems like I'm hearing more and more new thoughts the more people join the Fett forum!

Thank you very much. I just always like the way he carried himself, im alot of ways (now dont take this word for word) but he is kinda of a good role model if you actually think about it and you really try and understand his reasoning behind alot of his actions. He isnt greedy, he does what he thinks is right in his mind. He holds no allegance to anyone group of people as I am sure he understands there and good and bad qualities to both sides.

What do I like best about Boba Fett?  He's like the Star Wars version of Clint Eastwood.  He dispenses justice quickly and efficiently, and doesn't waste too much time talking about it.  He's got his own grey set of morals, and he doesn't let anyone or anything compromise them.  If you look in the dictionary under badass you'll see Boba Fett's picture.

Welcome to the Fett forum, Boba Zack. The fact that for most of his life he was a loner it what resonates the most with me.  It first I had trouble with the character development in Legacy of the Force, but Karen Traviss has done such a great ob with the Mandalorian culture in the Republic Commando books that it's starting to work for me, with Fett being Mandalore.  I kinda wish they had started those at an earleir point in time so he was 70ish doing all this.

Plus the armor rocks.  i like the beat up look over the slick styling of Jango.

Yes, his fighting maneuvers are too good to be true, but what I really like about him are his manners.
Not all Bounty Hunters are so moral, even in their own kind of way. He has a code, he sticks to it.
And I respect that. Although he was a bit reckless at times..
