Topic: Your Mand'alor beckons

"What, mercs?  Theres as much dishonor in that as there is in nonviolent politics.  At least as a bounty hunter you can choose honorable targets.  I refuse to accept money to kill thousands of weaklings."

:He looked around at the others, wondering exactly when one of them was goin to speak up.:

"No, but maybe they can be...saved," Solus said quietly. She hated the thought of a fellow Mandalorian losing what they stood for, becoming a Dar'manda. She shook the thought away, hardening her gaze as she look at the others sitting in the stands. "Maybe they want a spar."

"They can have it, one at at time or all at once."

:he continued to look inot faces and facepate visors, trying to judge who these men were by their scars.:

"Maybe they just need a leader."

Kal'ak saw that the fight had ended. It had been interesting, the man had one, but barely, it seemed. He stood, and went to the bar, he was thirsty

:Raj'el watched this one go, and wondered if anyone had the balls to honor him in combat.  He knew they would disdain his use of lightsaber forms, but as a former jedi, why shouldn't he?  He had been cast down before the war, exiled for his radical teachings of war and honor.  The Mandalorians were simply the only people that agreed with his point of view.:

"Hm, wonder where he's going?" Solus wondered out loud, watching Kal'ak go.

"maybe he'd like to spae with you next?" She said to Rej'el, pointing at the remaining Mandalorian.

"Possibly"

:He pointed his tremor sword at teh only mandalorian standing nearby.:

"You up for a match?  What's your name, anyway?"

"Talos Karrad" Said Talos, Standing up.

Kal'ak sat down and took off his helmet, ordering a drink as he did so. His face was covered in scars, as he had seen much combat. He enjoyed training others, teaching them new ways to fight, new ways to survive.

"Talika.  You have been sitting there, staring, for a while.  You going to fight, or just watch?"

"You get to fight him since he won," Solus chimed in, tucking her helmet under her arm. "Just try not to get too hurt. I don't want to mend anyone broken honor, or wounds. Whichever one comes first." She smirked.

(oh. i wasn't...my character wasn't involved in the Wars. he merely joined the Mandalorian army for 2 years and was promoted to Lt. for his excellent strategies. can i still join even if he wasn't involved in the Wars?)

Well, I'm more of a rifle man, but I can still fight fairly well with a sword.

:Rajel Sheathed his sword.  there was an arena designed for more ranged combat.:

"I can have that arranged.  I prefer ranged weapons myself, though usually mine have a scope and a 4000m range.  I 'll take you on by whatever rules you wish, challenger."

Kal'ak heard some small bits of conversation from the arena. The boy who had threatend him had said somthing about fighting fairly well with a sword. He heard talk of another fight, and he payed the bartender and took his drink with him he wanted to watch the upcoming fight. (Jodo please forgive my spelling I am not very good. (no sarcasm, or mockery intended. just a warning.))

"well, how bout we set are blasters to low power and throw a few pieces of furniture, or whatever." said Talos

Kal'ak laughed slightly "If you look for a chalenge, he isn't the one you want."he said grinning.

Talos shot a glare at the sergeant, and said: "I beg to differ, di'kut"

Kal'ak took a drink of his drink. And said "I could have killed you twice, and you still havent learned to think before you act, I feel like a faliure."

"lets see how well you do a dozen yards away" Talos replied in slight contemt.

"Such a situation would never happen, you wouldent hear or see me until I was right behind you, with a knife between your ribs." Kal'ak said still grining, not meaning it as an insult, but stateing it as simple fact.

"Well, I could fight both of you at once, to put and end to it."

:He smiled, the scar tissue, burns and droid eye moving slightly around the Mand'oa proverb etched on his exposed cheekbone.  THis would be a fight.  To MAndalorians against him?  a Challenge he had not known for decades.:

"Just one thing:  Anythign goes.  Low power so no deaths, but all weapons are permitted. I'll talk to Giva the Hutt, he'll let us use his Arena.  Movable walls, multiple stories, and buildings.  A town to fight in."

"I'll be up in the stands, cleaning my Medical tools. I have a feeling I'm going to need them," Solus said, going up to the stands and taking a seat close to teh ring, but one that had a good view. She then proceded to do just as she said, keeping one eye on the ring and one eye on the tools in her hand.

"Sounds good!," Talos replied. "But how much does cost to use the arena.?"

"Probably more than its worth." Kal'ak said as he took a large gulp from his drink, looking forward to this. "How about we try a free for all, three of us that would make quite a battle."

Talos looked to Rajel for his opinion.

the tall half-Mandalorian bounty hunter Jedi known as Jodo Kast walked by his potential adversaries and wondered if any of them would have the courage to challenge him today.

(well, Raj'el?)

Kal'ak looked at the tall man who had just walked past them "He could probly join our fight."

Jodo paused and noticed the leader of their group, most likely this "Raj'el Vhett" they kept talking to, was actually thinking of challenging him! Jodo laughed to himself and stopped at the bar. "Do you want something?" he asked, "because you've been staring at me since i walked in here."

Talos glared at the man that had walked buy them, and interrupted there talk. He had half a mind to shoot the man.....and the other half sorta agreed...

however, since Jodo was so in-tune with the Force, he read the man's mind and began to remove his lightsaber from his Mandalorian armor's gauntlet.
then, Raj'el Vhett stepped in and said...

(heck with that!) Kal'ak saw the weapon and drew his own, dropping his drink "Jedi..."he said angrilly as Raj'el stepped in.

(you mean "he said angrily"?)

Talos, also drew his Madal ripper and said: "Jedi scum! how dare you where the armor of the Manda'lore!"

to which Jodo replied, with a flash of yellow as he drew his lightsaber, "You cannot defeat a Jedi with mere blasters! It takes power in the Force do do such a thing! But, i accept your challenge! I will fight the one you call Raj'el first! Oh, and this is my 200th post, everyone! Bring it!"

Solus looked up, noticing the lightsaber. Anger filled her almost immedietly.

"Dishonorable Jetti!" She yelled, standing up, scattering her tools on the ground. "How dare you defile the Mandalorians by wearing our armor!"

Kal'ak attacked, swinging his blade at Jodo's legs, and as it was blocked, he punched him in the face

"you want a bet di'kut?" Talos drew his Mandolorian blaster rifile and switched it automatic fire.

Jodo responded quickly "It was not my choice! My father was the Mandalorian whose armor and whose name I am wearing. My mother was the Corellian whose power in the Force and whose shame I also cloak myself in. I did not choose to be who I am. I merely am. So, judge me if you must! But, I am not to blame for my condition!" After this, he lowered his head and his lightsaber as if full of shame.

as the mando sergeant took the pathetic jedi to the ground, Talos opend fire on the pile of flailing limbs, hoping he didnt hurt the sergeant.....

Kal'ak took Talos's gun and rose, spitting on the jedi. He shoved the gun back to Talos, pretty much meaning dont shoot.

but, it was really a trap set by Jodo using a recording and his armor!

Jodo then jumps down from where he was hanging on the ceiling wearing his Jedi uniform. he drops his robe and grabs his real lightsaber from his belt, igniting it and attacking the Mando crowd head on in a blur of yellow!
