August 3, 2007 11:07 pm # Blasphemy! (joke) Well I think Boba Fett is more to some than others, and for the some he is a lot too, are either on or have visited this site.
No disintegrations, No fun
August 4, 2007 12:37 am # he might be popular. and all the people have bought all the boba fett stuff in the toyshops!? :|
You've been holding out on us again haven't you? Since you haven't given us enough money, I'll guess I'll have to take it out of you piece by piece! - Unknown Mandalorian.
August 4, 2007 12:29 pm # I don't think that as a whole Boba is being forgotten. I think that they make less of his toys and thus create more of a demand for them. Plus it seems that many times they only toys left are the "unpopular" type, not Boba. For me to find Boba in the store took deligence in looking and asking clerks. (It helps being a chick sometimes)

Same here. Im always finding Leia's and Battle Droids at the stores. Ive only found ONE Boba Fett in my entire life at a Toys "R" Us and needless to say, I clung to it like it was my soul on the way to the register. I also ask alot too but still havent been able to find the unleashed figures of him, only the Jedi's mostly.

Lol. Never! I found like 5 models of him at a Flea market just a few days ago!
I got 5 packs of cards with Boba Fett on them and an Unleashed figurine of him.
There was also a strange figurine of Boba on a motorcycle that somewhat resembled Slave 1.
Ask for Bob-ah fett in stores. Some people mess his name up... :/

August 4, 2007 10:44 pm # Well, Boba Fett isn't really a popular character, compared to people like Darth Vader or Han Solo. I guess it has to do with selling power. If the character's popular, they're going to sell well, so in that case they're going to focus on the popular ones.
That's my opinion anyways.

August 5, 2007 10:24 am # Boba is pretty rare here. I always find the weird little known charecter toys at my Walmart. One time they had a Dengar on sale but i was low on chash asn was saving for a boba one. :P
Antique stores and flea markets are a great place to find SW stuff.
So let the good times roll,
Incase God doesnt show
Boba might not be the biggest toy on the block but I think will all the work Karen Traviss has been putting out he might be bigger then ever.

I don't think Boba will ever slip away. Mainly because he is a character of mystery...and everyone loves characters who are mysterious. In all honesty, I think his fan base would be larger if there were less books written about him, because the more we learn about him the less we feel the need to keep learning about him. As long as there are still books, comics, and costumers...he will never fade away.

I find it a little special that not everyone knows about Boba Fett. Makes it all the more better when you meet someone who actually knows who he was. I would rather see more of him at retail, but am happy with his low-key "cult" status.
He doesn't need to be as flashy as Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker... he is cool just being who he is, doing what he does...

I would still be happier to not know as much about him as we do now. It was more fun when there was mystery and all the specualtion about Concord Dawn, Mandalorian Warriors, what he looked like under the helmet.. rather than just a clone who was raised on Kamino...

I donno, I would consider myself more of a Mandalorian fan then a Boba Fett fan. I love the fact that in the new books he starts to think about his legacy and take on a role of not only a Mandalorian but Mandalore. I guess mostly because it brought more to the people then there was before.

There's still more. He had a daughter, has a grandaughter in the Legacy of the Force Storyline. He's like 70 and still taking names. He's looking for the cloners to figure out how to make his clone body immortal.
Either way, even if boba himself dies, there is always more to be learned about the technology behind him, and hwat happens with his bloodline. I haven't finished the books, so I don't know if he's chosen a successor.
Fett is inextrably linked to the Star Wars universe. As long as there are Star Wars Fans, there will be Boba Fett Fans.

I have a solution to Boba's mortality, call the Emporer from Warhammer 40k the Space marines are effectively Immortal, but they eventually die in combat, some, like Abbadon the Despoiler and Erebus have been around for atleast 10,000 years, but the Chaos gods probly have somthing to do with that.

That's what the space marines in the Emperors will topic are from? Warhammer?
I had no Idea. I don't play.
Fett kicks the crap out of all things living. It's his mandalorian blood. Add the mandalorians to warhammer, and you'd have the win-all race that would be banned in eventuality.
The point is, ten years from now Lucas will make the last three movies, and Fett will have a starring role. He can't get rid of him without pissing off half of his fanbase.

Well thats warhammer, not wahammer 40,000 (or 40k) one punch from a spacemarine your dead.
but i hope that he doesnt continue the series, maby just make movies with a focus on fett. if he made 7 8 and 9 that would kill the point of 1-6 because they were about darth vader

As far as I remember he said that he always wanted to make 1-3, but has flat out refused to make 7-9...
Time will tell...

I doubt Fett will lose his touch as it turns out h was far more popular than expected.

Isn't the warhammer like Durge and stuff? Or am I confused?

Yes, you are very very confused, warhammer is a fantasy battle game. Warhameer 40k is a scifi battle game, just because somthing is big and strong and wears armor does not mean its the same thing
but thats off topic
Boba was only supposed to be a very unimportand side character, but they brought him back due to unexpected coolness.
