Bass fiddle is easy to play Pete. You will catch on quick. Blue Grass is what I learned on Gospel as well.

When I was a little girl I used to take violin lessons but that didn't last long(no more than a year actually).

bass fiddle sounds cool, though i might have a lttle bit of trouble trying to fit it into my band. I would love to learn the trumpet or the  bone. I love ska music so that would be sick

I just moved overseas and left all my guitars at home and now I am lonely

I have a guitar, but I've never really picked it up.  It was a gift from my uncle and I need to have it restringed.  (It was his old one after he got something better...  And, I'm a leftie, he was a rightie...  There are difficulties.)

I can somewhat play the piano, by ear.  My great grandmother on my mother's side did the same.  She never had a lesson in her life and she could play really well.  She even played for silent movies.

Yep, the piano is very hard, for me at least. I drabble on it, nothing substantial comes, though.

I play acoustic guitar, hammered dulcimer, upright bass, mountain dulcimer, an irish drum (which I would have no hope of spelling! :P), and I recently learned to play the clawhammer banjo--now THAT is a fun instrument!

I think that the banjo would be sick! though isnt really hard? not like the guitar?

I love my Kentucky Mandolin! I do Blue Grass a lot.

well i have fun spitting out whatever on a harmonica, i tried to do Star Wars on it.

Well, since I've "mastered" the guitar, a very loose term mind you, playing the banjo has come fairly easily to me--much easier than the hammered dulcimer!!

Sadly no but I would love to play the bass guitar and the fiddle.

I can play piano, but not very well.

I once knew somewhat how to play violin, but I forgot it all. I also used to know a few chords for the guitar, but not anymore. I can play autoharp if I have a music sheet in it.

It seems to me like this is a rather talented bunch. I play guitar, acustic and electric, allthough not as well as I would like to. That would require more time than I have to practice and more money to learn because I have a hard time teaching my self musical things. I doubt I shall ever get past the poser stage. My sister plays the saxiphone and can totally play different Star Wars themes on it. Do any of you guys play wind or brass instruments?

check the first page. i have become acceleratingly good at playing by ear, and during band period in school will play notes of other instruments' parts in a song.

Baritone, but then I got bored of it and gave up after about the second year. The problem, I can only read Bass clef(sp?) music still...

I love the upright bass.  WAlking blues scales sound so cool on the bass.

I play the guitar very well and I can play the recorder with my nose. Seriously.
