Topic: Boba Fett versus Ironman

I really don't know which would win. They're very similar in equipment and techiques. They both can fly and both have very strong armor. I think Ironman's armor would be better and Boba Fett's arsenal would be better.

Normally I'd say Boba, but I know more or less what Ironman can do, so idk

Thats exactly how I feel, which is why i must pit them against each other at this time to see whom is worthy of my fanatic obsession... what will most likely happen tho is I will just keep liking both :)

Iron has so much programmed into his suit.  A pseudo-spider sense, extreme strength.  I'd say he'd win.  But I have begun to dislike him after the Civil War events.  So Boba is still 100 times better.

Coming from both a huge Comic book fan & huge Star War fan, I'd say it'd be one heckuva fight, but boba would win because of his superior weaponry, and his ruthlessness. Both combatants would be pretty banged up when it's over.

I agree Boba would win,it'd be a long hard battle,but Stark just isn't good enough to beat Fett!

I dont know... I dont doubt Boba's capability (NEVER) but I think everyone might be selling Ironman short. His armor is near impenetrable and he cant be disarmed because his main weapon is on the palm of his hand, unless of course you ACTUALLY disarm his and manage to rip apart his armor and take his arms off. Ironman's armor would be Boba's main problem. He could probably easily avoid damage from him but it would take a long time to crack Ironman's armor.

I think he might just hit Iron Man with EMP or something, whip off Tony's helmet and shoot him in the face. :p

Okay, I too am both a Marvel nerd, and a Fett geek, so i'm right down the middle.  Fett is more ruthless, and cold, while Stark is a hero at heart.  However, Stark's armouyr and weaponry is on par with, if not far better than Fett's.  Fett couldnt whip off Stark's helmet, because it hass a special system to keep it on.  The only way I could see Fett winning would be to do something to short out the armour's power systems, and shut down the auxilary power source as well.  Fett, though, is more vulnerable, as his whole body is not coated in armour.  Iron Man will attempt to keep Fett alive, and Fett would too, to an extent.  I'd say that the ruthlessness and cunning are Fett's primary weapons against Iron Man, whose power comes from his technology.

I too think Tony Stark's fallen a bit in standards.  I mean, i like the guy, and what he's trying to accomplish, I just dont like HOW he's going about doing that.  Cool-wise, Boba's better right now.  And probably always will be.

I'd say Iron Man, only because I knew who he was before Boba.

I'm with you on that one Gustavo, the EMP is probsbly what would do it.  Even if he has some sort of "anti-EMP" device in there it couldn't match up to that of the Star Wars universe.

Well, I dont HATE Iron Man.  I like him, and I understand what he is trying to do.  However, I dislike the methods he is using to acheive his goals.  Iron Man has a genius class intellect, and he would probably prepare a plan for the event of an EMP.  However, an upgraded version of the inhibitor pack that he used in the Armour Wars would shut him down completely by fusing his suit's circuits and rendering him useless.  Fett would figure this out eventually, and use it to his advantage.  He'd only win through previous planning, cunning and his famous ruthlessness.

Boba could slice and dice Iron-Man with the lightsaber he used to fight Vader.

I don't know if that comic was canon, but I bet Boba could beat Iron Man if he had a canon! ;p

iron man has a cannon too.

I give it to Fett.  His armor isn't as strong, but he's got the same ammount of weapons, which are more deadly, and he knows how to use them better.  He's also more ruthless, and is less likely to make dumb mistakes, and has better physical reflexes and skill.

Iron Man's armor grants him crazy strength, I think it's either class 90 or 100 strength by Marvel standards. He's supposed to be able to lift like 100 tons with it. Not to mention all the weaponry and defensive abilities his suit provides him with. Even with all that Boba would whup him though. He'd just hit with a few ion blasts and then before his suit could re-route energy he'd set a few thermal detonators and S.H.I.E.L.D would need a new director.

I was actually thinking of an Ion rifle or one of the portable Ion cannons he used against IG-88. It never occured to me to have him fight Iron Man from his ship. And I don't think Fett would lose a fight to Stark outside his ship so long as he had an Ion weapon of some type. Iron Man doesn't have the mentality to defeat Boba, especially not in a fight to the death. He's used to defeating and imprisoning opponents. Not fighting to the death against an enemy whose entire life revolves around combat and conflict. And there is no alter ego or pretending for Fett. He's dangerous 100% of the time.

Iron Man got the crap beaten out of him by Captain America not long ago.

Exactly. Cap whupped on him twice in Civil War, both times after causing Iron Man's armor to malfunction.When Iron Man's armor is compromised he reverts to a really expensive punching bag.

Actually, Cap didn't too well during the second half of that first fight with Iron Man. But I'm probably getting a bit off-topic.
