February 10, 2006 7:36 pm (Edited February 11, 2006 05:13 pm) # Of all the bounty hunters in the Original Trilogy, which is your favorite? To make thing interesting, since this is called the "Boba Fett Fan Club", Boba Fett shouldn't be counted because everyone would just vote for him.
In case you have forgotten, your options are Greedo, Bossk, Zuckuss, 4-lom, IG-88. EDIT: And Dengar
I really think my personal favorite is Zuckuss. I am not really sure why... I have a thing for the underdogs like him and Greedo. Things are more exciting for a wimp than a tough killer machine. Of course, I wouldn't consider Zuckuss and Greedo wimps. They are at least tough enough to even attempt to have a profession as dangerous as bounty hunting.

February 11, 2006 4:57 pm # Well, if you wanna go really in depth on this you could study the cantina and Jabba's Palace parts, there's a lot of hunters there, and most have names. But, these are the obvious choices. Oh, did you list Dengar? Cause then Dengar would be my choice.

February 11, 2006 8:19 pm # Zuckuss and 4-LOM.
I loved their story in Tales of the Bounty Hunters, "Of Possible Futures" where they go over to the Rebellion. And the two of them have such a nice bond in that story, it's just so sweet. Sorry if that sounds corny, but what can I say...
February 11, 2006 9:38 pm # I kind of liked Dengar's story from the "Tales of the Bounty Hunters." It was a very nice touch. A lot deeper character than I thought he'd be.

Yeah, it is a great book series. (Or at least so far...) I am on the last few pages of the second book and will soon start on the third...

February 12, 2006 6:18 pm # The third one's really good. I won't spoil you, but something in it ties in with the X-Wing book that follows it chronologically (I forget which one), which I thought was cool. And then there's something in it about Mara that's also really cool. It's been a long time since I read them, though, so I don't remember exactly what's happened by the end of the second book (they sorta blend together right now).

I couldn't get into it, and I normally like the author.
I can't even articulate why.
Even today, I keep trying to read it every now and again. I want to like it, but like the dude in Farenheit 451, the bell keeps going off in my head every so often preventing me from getting through more than a few pages at a time. That's usually a sign that the story's not my cuppa. Technically, it's very well written.

yeah i wasnt keen on the whole taking over the galaxy, droid rebellion, in control of the death star story. Was all a little silly for me

Well, that is kind of like saying that Bothans are in Episodes IV and VI, when they obviously aren't...

gamewinners.com is a good spot to get cheats for that game, the debug code for shadows if u use it right during that scene where the skyhook is
exploding u can see a special scene where dash, the outrider, and his droid partner are going through hyperspace.

February 18, 2006 6:08 pm # From what I remember the book leaves it vague. In the game, I hear if you beat it on easy you hear one ending, if you beat it on medium you hear another, and on hard it's another. (Like the first is undecided, the second he died, the third he lived, or something like that. I've only ever beaten it on easy and that was so long ago I forget what happened)

As for Dash, he also shows up in at the end of a graphic novel, "Shadows of the Empire: Evolution" or something, in a bar talking to Xuri.

February 21, 2006 5:39 am # Bossk
Position Bounty hunter
Homeworld Trandosha
Species Trandoshan
Sex Male
Height 1.9 metres
Affiliation None (mercenary)
Bossk is a Trandoshan bounty hunter and pilot of Hound's Tooth best known for snarling at Admiral Piett for disparaging remarks about bounty hunters in The Empire Strikes Back. As Trandoshans are traditional enemies of the Wookiees, this three-fingered, three-toed reptiloid long specialized in hunting down Wookiees - sometimes enslaving them for the Empire, sometimes skinning them for their pelts. When Bossk was young, he murdered and ate his father Cradossk to gain control of the Bounty Hunter's Guild.
Bossk has a long-standing vendetta against Chewbacca leading to several run-ins with he and Han Solo; each time Bossk was humiliated when they escaped from him. He and Boba Fett teamed up on Ord Mantell in an attempt to capture Solo and Chewbacca, but was betrayed to the Empire after being tricked into liberating a Wookiee prison camp and nearly skinned for it. Bossk heeded Darth Vader's call to rendezvous with other bounty hunters aboard Vader's Super Star Destroyer, the Executor. Later, he and other hunters tried to wrest the prized catch - Han Solo in carbonite - away from Boba Fett.
Years after the Battle of Endor, Bossk retired due to his age from professional hunting. He later ran into Han Solo on a space station during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, where he unwisely taunted Han about Chewbacca's recent death. A fistfight ensued, and Bossk was last seen in a holding cell.

Out of the choices that you've mentioned, I like Dengar the best. Yes, he could be considered not too bright at times, and in others he can just be an outright moron, but then again, he's very ruthless when he needs to be, and he also has the capability of love. I don't think I've seen evenm Boba express that much as of yet (well, recently anyways).
