That is possible; it has been a while since I read Persuit, but either way Boba would not have had a chance of survival.

He adapts, so he has a chance at surviving, regardless of the slimness of the odds.
He was about to be killed, he had no chance.
I dont im going for boba fett only because he was able to ambush an IG-88 on bespin and destroy him. IG-88 was a awesome assassin droid so im going for fett. besides mandalorian armor rocks.
"Do or do not, there is no try" -Yoda-
IG-88 droids do not compare to Windu.

I agree, more or less. I believe an IG-88 can land at least a few blows however.
Boba did have the flechette pistol and probably could of shot mace. I for one think he was going to because he isn't gonna stand there and let himself be killed especially not by the person who killed his farther.
Boba was on the ground, and was about to be killed. No matter how skilled Fett is, he could not escape on his own.
he wasn't on the ground he was in a corner.
Okay, and he was about to be killed. He could not have done anything to save his life. Bobais not a god.

Yes I think I agree Mace but if Boba was an adult he could've slaughtered Mace. You hear Sam Jackson he would've SLAUGHTERED YOU!!! ugh sorry I'm still angered of the fact that Sam wouldn't have done ROTS if Boba killed him I mean wtf it isn't his story.
NO no no no guys i mean its like this ya c i just dont think boba would just stand there (unless of course he had a death wish like his dad) i think he would at least shoot
And i used to like sam jackson.....lost respect for him now.
1. Try to use thee edit button in the bottom right-hand corner of your post so that you do not post twice in a row.
2. Of course Boba would attack, if he had time. He did not have time. He was about one second from being killed.
3. Jango did not have a death wish.

Yeah Jango didn't just stand there he tried to activate the jetpack, but it didn't work next thing ya know hes decapitated. Sad that a stupid rhino actually helped kill Jango.
no i meant that jango as much as i like him was a bit cocky to go down with one blaster and try to take on mace the odds were against him. And anyway boba did have time how long does it take to fire a pistol or any gun for that matter plus depending on which angle the lightsaber was coming at boba's armour could off possible protacted him from the worst of the hit.
Boba is not a god, he cannot move at super-speeds. If Palpatine had not walked in, he would have been killed. There was not enough time for him to do anything.
im not saying boba is a god he's far far from it its just that you don't have to move at superspeeds to fire a gun it can take half a second. I went out shooting the other day and i no that it took litrely no time at all to fire the trigger. Anyway i found this thought it might tell you something good GL was wanting to happen. Fett was originally intended to play a role in the film Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. According to the book The Making of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Fett would have been involved in the death of Mace Windu, as an act of revenge for Windu killing Fett's father Jango. However, Lucas at one point reorganized the entire story for the film, and cut what he considered to be extraneous characters and situations that he felt were not an essential part of the plot of Anakin's fall. Thanks to sam it didn't happen
Clown, Boba did not have half a second: he was about to die.
draco a swing from a lightsaber is not faster the pulling a trigger.
true, bobo is right there, draco. ;)
Yes, but Boba did not have the flechette gut pointed at Windu. By the time he got it pointed at him, he would have been dead.
It seemed like he did to me and anyway the flechette blast goes almost everyware when your that close so just a random swing a pulling of a trigger and BANG mace is dead.
Boba did shoot it once and Mace blocked all of the projectiles with the Force. In less than a second, Boba was going to die. You are overestimating Boba.
If i was GL, i would have left the part about boba getting revenge out of Sam's script.

1st off, Boba did not kill Mace Windu because Sam L. Jackson said he wouldn't do ROTS if a "nobody" like Boba Fett killed him.
draco a swing from a lightsaber is not faster the pulling a trigger.
Secondly, the jedi have blocked countless shots from guns. Remember that the force gives them those annoying cheap-@$$ abilities.
3rd, there is no way Boba could've killed Mace, no matter what others might think.
Okay first off Sam was gonna die at the hands of boba fett the piece of writing you copied and pasted gustavo was from a website called wookiepedia search boba fett. And draco mace never blocked them he bearly just jumped out of the way at one point he gets hit a few times by a flechette.
I have no idea what you mean in your first sentance; you need punctuation. I'll asuume the meaning.
1. Where did Gustavo copy anything?
2. How do you kow Mace was ging to die by Boba's hand?
3. Even if Boba was going to kill him in the movie, it does not matter, because he didn't.
4. Wookieepedia is not trustworthy at all.
5. Boba was less than a second away from dying, and he did not have the flechette launcher pointed at Windu. Even if Boba did, Mace would probably just lower it with the Force.
6. Mace was one of the most powerful Jedi at the time, and Boba was just some kid trying to get revenge.
#2: Eh, I read somewhere about Boba being the one to kill Mace Windu, I think you search mace windu on wookieepedia.
You can't trust Wikis as far as you can throw them.
can you throw an internet page? (not counting printing on paper, putting on floppy disk, storing on a 1g flash drive/cd, etc)
Ok draco first things first when i said that "Sam was gonna die at the hands of boba fett the piece of writing you copied and pasted gustavo" i meant this
bobo fett the clown wrote:

Secondly: No i don't believe everything wookiepedia says but it states (if you type in boba fett in the search bar)
that mace was gonna die at the hands at boba or he would have played a big part in his death.
Thirdley: No it doesn't but i thought that you might like to know
Fourthley: Not all the time no
Fithley: to be honest it doesn't really say that he did or didn't but it does say that he raised his wepon which makes me think that he points it at mace logic ya know he couldv'e been playing posem?
Finally: That maybe true but don't underestimate revenge! it could possibly be more powerfull than the force e.g obi-wan sees qui-gon die then gets revenge and kills maul.
But afterall it's only speculation and opinions.
The isea that Boba was going to kill Mace was just a rumor.
Kenobi was close to falling to the Dark Side.
It doesn't matter how much revenge you have, it doesn't give you any special "abilitiies" or anything. Let's say I killed a kid's father and he goes after me with a baseball bat but I have a gun. Now, does it matter how much revenge he has? No. No matter if he's the most vengeful mother ****er you know, it's not going to help. Same in this case no matter how much vengeance Boba had, he never would have survived against Mace's lightsaber.
Boba did catch Mace off-guard, and Fett still lost.
so why didn't fett fire? i would if i were in his position.
Boba was to caught up in his vendetta to take the intelligent move, and shoot Mace.
I'll have to read this book. It's Pursuit correct?
Fett II's right why didn't he fire? well i think i might have an answer for that maybe he was waiting for mace to strike and in mid strike shoot because there would be no way he could of blocked it.
Draco i guess your right about obi going near the dark side when he got revenge.
Gustavo your half right there but boba's intelligent he planned any person intelligent enough would and they could sniper you or something when yor alone then cut you up and chuck you in the sea if they were that hell bent. nothing personal just something that could happen.
but guys afterall its only what if .

He was gonna fire, but Mace was right next to him; he would've sliced the gun in half then beheaded Boba. And I know people can snipe you when you're alone, I know people get revenge all the time, what I was saying is that no matter how badly he wanted to kill Mace, Boba wouldn't have succeeded.
Well actually mace was within striking distance of boba if he was to close he wouldn't of been able to attack boba as boba was proped up agaist a wall. Secondly did you see how long it took for mace to strike palpitine it gave anikin enough time to get his lightsaber out and then chop his hand off.
Your right people do get revenge all the time but i was trying to say if you plan a murder well enough you will always succeed.

What does it matter if Mace was "too" close? Boba's dead either way. And 2ndly, succeeding in murder is one thing, while getting away with it is another. It isn't so successful if you kill the person and wind up in jail or as a rotting corpse, is it?
Yes, but Boba did not have the flechette gut pointed at Windu. By the time he got it pointed at him, he would have been dead.
Ah, yea he did. Fett. Did. Not Lose. That. Fight. And as far as what you said about Mace blocking all of Fett's attacks, Fett, punched him quite effectively several times.
SF
Boba may have hit Mace a few times, but he did lose the battle. In less than a second, Boba would have been killed, ergo, he lost. Boba is capable of losing, just like everyone else (except Mr. T).
While I agree with Draco on this 1, I jus don't think it really proves anything. Boba was young and revenge bent during the battle and obviously didn't have the skills he would gain later on. Boba had no chance of beating one of the most powerful Jedi in the order at the time. Now I think a slightly better question would be a prime age vs prime age fight.
Hail to the King Baby!!
I agree that the actual battle does not prove anything, I think that Boba would still probably lose.
whether or not Boba lost to Mace on that first fight, he did put up a pretty good fight, so imagine what he oculd do in his prime.
SF
How did Boba manage to punch Windu ? If he somhow let Boba punch him he dosent look like such a great Jedi to me i just dong understand that.
I think, therfore i am I destroy, therfore i endure - IG-88 tales of the bounty hunters
