Topic: Boba's BL-17

so i was reading the new essential droids book and in the last few entries it mentions the BL-17 that fought for the Mandos and mentions how boba had his own that he kept for a while. any one know what book this came from?

I think that it was in the Droids episode that he was in.

Was this droid Boba's permanent ally? Like, was he kept in Slave 1? Who exactly is he?

I think that BL-17 is the Bollux to Boba's Han.

No, but you'd think that a droid would be able to pick up/download onto its harddrive some of his tactics.

well BL-17 befreinded C-3PO and turned him against R2-D2 but threepio learned that BL-17  was working with Boba and  BL-17 somewhere in the story got crushed with falling machinery
