My name is Kandosii Mando Verd ( You can call me Kandosii ) if you please, Because i was under that name when i played Republic Commando on the internet.
So everyone, i hope this clears up so many things that you've been losing sleep over. ;) :D
To be honest, I just came up with it way back when I first got the internet. I think it had something to do with a 'Power Ranger' character I had invented in my head....only later did I find out kale was a vegetable and even later then that that Lady Kale (my other screenname) was a cartoon character.
Very interesting. I used to be a freelance RPG person, and my character was apprenticed to a fellow by the name of Kale Bek. Lol must be a popular name, huh?
'Sarin Kerevor' was just a cool SW name I picked for a KOTOR file. And I liked it, so I used it repeatedly.
I enjoy seeing people's creativity with names

Which is the funniest part, here I am thinking I made it up and there's tons of other people, characters, and vegetables running around out there with the same name!

this is interesting.........
well of course you guys might already think you know y my name is the way it is.......but you dont....
Theres this rap song and its the rap theme song to the movie Warriors. It always says in the chorus......."True Warrior....."
so I decided that everything they were saying is about Boba and it sounds very true so........THATS MY NAME! :D

my name's just a cool way to spell "fear".
THroughout my growing knowledge of the Fett world, I always had one picture in my mind, Fetts helmet. The T-shaped visor symbolizes him in everyway imaginable. One could see the cold, hard, calculating Fett in his visor. To have this image cast the bounties, and galaxy in fear is a cruel weapon in itself. Mandalorians in general became feared with their growth in knowledge and power, and everyone remembers them, especially the armor they war.

It is L337, correct?
I thought Niner was pretty cool as the leader of Omega squad.
I was hoping to have a slightly more original name then anything Fett based.
Sol Gonsar has nothing whatsoever to to with Star Wars, it's just the name I used for my sorceror/warrior when I used to play D&D. I've used it for every RPG, MMO, forum, pretty much anywhere I can enter a username, since.
Oh, this is kinda an old thread, but since it has been bumped & I never participated in it, let me explain my name...
My favorite fighting games are the Tekken and Soul Calibur series. Both games have a quiwrky character named Yoshimitsu who I absolutely adore. He's a ninja, albeit an unorthodox ninja, but one nonetheless! Well, Yoshimitsu is the head of a clan of ninja called the "Manjitou." So I just sort of forged Manji Ninja as my online identity.
If you're curious, here's more about Yoshi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoshimitsu_(Namco)
I go by the name Manji_Ninja on a few forums. It's just easy to keep the same name everywhere.
I have played Tekken three and a Soul Calibre game, and he is probably my favorite character.
I know! Isn't he awsome? I have to admit I like the Soul Calbur version of Yoshimitsu more, especially from Soul Calibur 3 where he was wearing bright pink and had the big goofy smiley mask. :P "Namu, Namu, Namu!" I used to know a lot of his phrases by heart. In Japanese. :D
I read some where that the phrase he was saying is a prayer for the dead; taunting his opponent by saying that they are alredy dead.
Yeah, it's supposed to be some sort of Buddhist greeting... and a play on the word "Namco" too, who produces the videogame. ;)
Yeah... but I like him mostly 'cause he's so mysterious... like Boba. :)
Draco, I didn't see you explain your name? The Fett part is obvious, but is Draco supposed to be Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter? Or just that you like dragons...?
"cujo" is a detraction of my first and middle name. the movie "cujo" is actually one of the worst movies ive ever seen.
its cool to see where people are coming from...
I didn't think the movie was horrible.
My name is kinda obvious. To elaborate, however, I shall explain. As i knew Boba was one of the last Mandalorians, and his father was an assassin, I combined the two. Kinda like the message boards combine the 'old' era of SW geeks, and the 'new' SW geeks (like myself).
I thought of that as well, but Iliked the idea of merging two different eras. Iguess you could apply it to a description of Boba too.
I reckon that he is an assassin because in the books he takes assassination jobs, and the back of the Kenner figure stated that he is.
Yeah. I know that he takes assassination jobs, but I think of Jango as more of an assassin. I don't know why though.....first impressions, I guess.
I chose Sev Fett because of my favourite clone commando and the hero of these boards. Although looking back I don't think I should have done Fett as a second part.
Because of my job. I used to sell cars now I repair them.
i go by this name because i want to. you can't stop me.
i just really wanted to be on bffc so i made the quickest username... now i want my user name to be Commander Ret.
I got my name a few years ago after I had been listening to White Zombie.
In one of the songs I heard the line ‘to the devil a daughter comes’
I thought that was a funky line and so I became the devils daughter :D :P

I love White Zombie. That's an awesome song, plus it gave you a sweet name.
mine is just my real name re-arranged
geurel regimas becomes samuel (blank)
Jango or Boba Fett. :( I would like to use my own star wars character's name, but it's too late. My user name is fine for me. ;) :D
GLOPINO is one of my many nicknames.
PS. The damn bubble gum company stole my name to use for their new bubble gum.
Viking1 was my call sign in IRAQ, my ODA was the VIKING element as we were the boat team. 1 is the designation for the medic so I was Viking 1. Could be the name of my ship like BOBA has SLAVE1 too.
That's probably the coolest story in this thread.
Yeah, you got that right.
I picked mine because I liked RC, and wanted a name recoginsable, but unused. (like boba/jango fett)

I hope this doesn't sound sarcastic, or fake, but thanks for defending our country. With all the anti-War in Iraq feelings, you guys don't get that nearly enough.
Once again, thanks for thanking me on behalf of all the uniformed out there. We don't do it for that, but it is nice to know that despite the constant buzz of the politics and rhetoric being thrown about that you all appreciate what we do.
The ones who really deserve then thanks are the families that pray for us and send us goodies in the mail.
By the way I am a MEDICAL SERGEANT in the ARMY.
Like I said before, the TRAVISS CLONE stories are our stories, just take out the blasters and droids and there we are.

Draco put it perfectly. People don't really appreciate what you guys do. I know plenty of soldiers believe that we should be there, but the public ignores that. Whether or not we should be there--you guys are fighting, and offering your lives. No matter what the politics are, that deserves respect.

I have just seen on Wikipedia that Rob Zombie is a vegetarain :D If that is true then that is funky as I am a vegetarian as well :D
Edited to add:
That is a tough job that you do Viking 1. I hope you get to go home soon.

Wow I had never read that story Viking1 before. That really helps in my understanding. Good job and thank you for all you do. I hope you get to come home soon, since it sounds like you are in active deployed duty. My cousin got to come home in Feb. He's marines.
"Suggestion: Electrocution works well. Evisceration and Decapitation are also effective, or um, so I've heard."

Great story behind your nickname.
Yes, Traviss definitely has a heart for the soldiers.
And, thanks!
TRAVISS dedicated her SACRIFICE book to a guy a few classes ahead of me in the MEDICAL SERGEANT training course, she was my favorite author before and now will always be.
Thanks for all the support, I am in the US ARMY, and am currently an instructor teaching advanced trauma medicine to young up and comers. I did a tour in NORHTERN IRAQ last year and was in DC after 9/11 doing security for the PENTAGON, but since assuming full time custody of my little MANDOs (or Ninjas) I have been sidelined for now as an instructor, but should return to the FORCE in the next two years.
Appreciate all the love and support you all have shown, and to NIGZY "CHECK CANOPY!!!" or "JUMPERS HIT IT!!!"
