Sorted by oldest to newestIf the story in Tales of the Bounty Hunters is still canon, then yes, Boba had several nerves removed.

Ya, I always get that part of the story confused with how Dengar is emotionless, so I can definately see how you can be confused with the storyline.

I never heard that.
I have heard that Boba was genetically enhanced and has accelerated healing abilities, which is why he survived the Sarlacc when no one else could have. I also heard that his eyes are super sensetive, which is why he always wears his helmet. (That and the whole paranoid about showing his face in public thing.)

Looking back I don't think they were removed just for pain if any were ever actually removed...Some were for sense of taste and smell. I might have to read the story again. Only place I can ever remember reading anything about it.
But this remains different from Boba's cloning. This if it did happen would have been during the Empire or slightly before.

I think, therfore i am I destroy, therfore i endure - IG-88 tales of the bounty hunters
Actually I have no memory at all of him doing any altering, enhancing, or removing. But then I haven't read the BHW or TOTBH in about 5 or 6 years, so maybe I'm forgetting something.

Boba did not survive the sarlacc because he has accelerated healing abilities he survive the sarlacc by once again outsmarting his oppenant.

How did he outsmart the Sarlacc? You don't need to outsmart an animal.
If he wanted to survive a digestive system (like the sarlacc's) he would need to have no nerves. The pain would kill you.
he didnt outsmart it, he was just smart enough to get away from it. Plus he had cuncussion credades, which most people dont have.

Boba Fett survives on pure will power, he's not enhanced he's just tough as nails. He does feel pain because in both the Tales of the Bounty Hunter,Bounty Hunters Wars, and Bloodlines he makes mention of ignoring it. I'm sure he probably has nerve damage from the Sarlacc however, among other problems.
probably has an exremely high pain tolerance though i mean youd have to to survive in his field and from his experiences

Or at least burn out your nerve system.
Is the Bounty Hunter Wars series considered canon? Because in the first one(The Mandalorian Armor) when Boba, Bossk, IG-88, and Zuckuss take the shell-hutt job, Boba mentions having some nerve/smell related thing removed(I'll have to check it again to see exactly what it was) so he isn't effected by the flowers that are having a weird effect on everyone else.

I think it is considered canon unless it contradicts the movies.
I consider it canon.

I like Bounty Hunter War Dengar. The whole emotionless thing is kinda cool in a way, but his character in that book was so much more interesting with emotions.
