True but each school and state have different curriculum so at the rate they were dropping credits instead of being class of 98, I almost ended up class of 02, almost doubling my high school time.  So I applied for an exemption and got a GED, a month before I was supposed to graduate and with the highest score to come out of the district, so when I applied for collage they looked at that and didn't even make me take the ACT or SAT.

Of course the best way to get through this, is to be as vain as possible.

She was in the wrong. Its her problem etc etc.

And now I feela whole lot better.

So you don't expect to have a child, to pass on your ways and your stuff? Thats like the only reason I want a kid I need an heir to my possessions and I don't wanna be completely forgoten when I die. More correctly, If I die.

Everybody needs an heir. The Mandalorians...including Jango thought so. In fact, I feel that Boba feels the same, he just hasn't been able to get himself a clone yet. (or have I missed a book where he does that?)

Relationships are good...they only have potential of being bad. The overall effect though, I would say is good.

Look in Mandalorian on Wookiepedia I'm having technical problems right now but I think that's where it says that.

So you're letting your family tree die with you? Another reason I don't want the bloodline to end with me is because my great-grandfather was an assassin, I don't want his "legacy" to end with me.

All this family tree business still doesn't warm me to the idea of kids.
If I get to be 40 and start saying dumb things like "hearing the patter of little feet" etc. I'll adopt. I'd want to adopt an older kid too- get me past the diapers and 24 hour screaming and maybe they wouldn't be too bad.

Yeah but if you adopt from an older age who knows what's in their head? I also want to start from the beginning because I want to teach them as much as I can. For example, I want my 5 year old kid to be able to outsmart any 8 year old around, or something like that. something difficult, you know? or my 13 year old to outsmart almost any adult, etc etc. I also want to teach all my skills at a younger age so my kid can surpass me.

The whole thing with adopting is that if you get them young enough then other than DNA they will never know that you are not their biological parent and your feelings and traditions will be passed on anyway,  and in some ways your adopted offspring may even do better than biological if say your family has a predisposition to heart disease then an adopted child may not and could live longer and healthier than if you had your own.

I've done some work with abused animals, (more similar to kids than you might think) and I'm interested in what goes on in the mind of a kid who's been separated from his/her family. I'd be willing to take child psychology classes and whatnot. I've taken in an animal that someone else threw away... likewise I'd be willing to take in a kid that someone else threw away. You can teach older kids- you just have to work with them differently than a toddler.
If I didn't want to have a kid of my own I'd start a horse camp for abused/neglected children. I want to do something for the world.
Since I'm still in college so I guess I've got plenty of time to think about it.

Honestly, I feel bad for people who think they constantly need a bf/gf in order to be happy or just to fit in. I'm a senior in Highschool... I've only had three boyfriends. One of which was the ONLY one that I went on actual dates with and kissed. And that one ended horribly, 'cause I got WAY to attached. But I'm not going to go into details, the fact is I learned that you shouldn't expected someone to love you just because you love them... and also that you SHOULD NOT be with someone who does not RESPECT or CARE for you the same way you feel about them. It's just not right.
I think part of the reason I haven't had many bf is because I'm rather picky... when I was a freshman, I had two guys who liked me at the same time. I turned both of them down. I know I really hurt there feelings, but never go out with some one out of pity or just for the heck of it, 'cause it will only make this worse. That's basically what happened to me... what goes around comes around.
Not only that, but face it... dating in school is just pointless. Hard truth. How many high school sweethearts are married? It's so worthless and a waste of money... yes, money. When you're dating someone you really like, you feel the need to constantly buy something for them in order to prove your devotion, and then it's all wasted when they dump you.
These days, so many young women and men want to rush to get married as soon as they're out of college. Whether it's because they think the relationship will actually work, or 'cause they want to fit the norms of society, it doesn't matter. The point is that you need to get out and LIVE. Be independent. I know personally that I'd like to travel the world. I want to see Germany, Japan, Egypt, New Zealand... the list goes on. And face it, once you're married with kids, you can't do SQUAT. All your time and money is invested into your kids until you're retired, basically.
By all means, find someone to love you and love them for who they are... be happy together. But do not expect them to be tthe first person you dat date, and don't rush getting into relationships. And don't get involved in "friends with benefits" either, that's just distasteful... and besides, what would Boba think of that?
Just my thoughts, hope some one can use the advice.

I agree, Manji! Dating while still a kid is pointless and kinda stupid cause then you've wasted all your childhood and teen years on someone you'll never see again later in life.

I've been mulling it over and decided I'm too stubborn to be married anytime soon. My bro just got married at 30- I might try to break his record for oldest single person.
I've got lots of "fish to fry" too.. I'd like to do some world-level shows, travel a bit, finish school, live on my own and be my own boss.
I do agree that it wouldn't hurt some people to hold off on dating for a while. I've seen 12yo kids that say they're dating! Ye Gods! I was certainly not mature enough then to handle that stuff. People do so much growing up in middle and high school- a couple could wind up going two different directions and not stand to be around each other.
I did not know what "friends with benefits" meant until my first year of college and I think the idea is bunko. I feel sorry for those people who can't sleep alone.

January 3, 2007 12:34 pm #

Yeah, it's weird when 12-year-olds say they're dating. That's a bit of what I meant. I have a sister who's almost 13 and has already broken up with her first BF. 0_0 I didn't even start thinking about boys till I was 13, and then it wasn't till I was about 14 I even liked anyone in particular. I was almost 17 when I got my first BF, which we're still together. (I wasn't saying ALL young relationships were bad, just most are, it seems)

Word of advice never date a stripper, they come with way to much baggage. A former manager that I worked with his last three ex-girlfriends were strippers, and it cost him a lot of money.  Stay away from strippers because remember when your ready to leave with one your usually pretty close to three sheets to the wind and Bubba the bouncer is starting to look pretty good to, and when you meet up with the guys the next day they say to you "Were you really that drunk? She was !!UGLY!! I almost lost all my dinner and lunch when she got on stage."

All these twelve and 13 year olds with bf/gf really annoy me.  Can you really understand what love is at that age?  Me being a 14 year old have only started to fathom what this odd feeling called love is.  Are these kids really in love or are they conforming to the ways of the world or are they using their bf/gf as a popularity tool?

What's so wrong about muscles on a chick? If I don't have a Y chromosone I'm not entitled to muscles? Or are you just afraid if you date a girl with biceps and tick her off that she'll kick your butt?
And.. guys... let me let you in on a secret. Girls have facial hair. Yes. Nearly all of them. Most of the time it doesn't show up, and when it does, we pluck it.

Gustavo, there is no way there are body-building girls in your school. If there are, which would be quite strange, there aren't enough of them to make any difference in your preference. And I'll admit that I think it looks better when a girl has a little muscle, because without it they are sticks... and I find that creepy more than not.

I have muscles, but that's because I'm always runing around with my brothers and my boyfriend Stephen playing airsoft, paintball, fishing, hunting, four-wheeling etc. What's so wrong abour having muscle? Better than being fragile.
All girls have facial hair. If you have dark hair like me, it's more noticable than on blondes and reds. You just got to deal with it, and, fyi, I tried plucking once for a dare and I've never done it since. Pain for a guy to look at something on my face that's only slightly noticable? Pass thanks.
Let me ask you guys something, I'm almost 5'9'' and still growing so, I've got long legs. What is it with guys and long legs? And, long hair? It's probably just a stereotype, but I'd rather hear it from the horse's mouth.

To get the best definition and bulk you need to be older because you can be strong as all get out and have no shape when you are young main reason bulk and defined muscles are made by scar tissue and when you are young you heal faster than when you are older most of the time, the scale went you get your speed in your teens, stamina in your twenties, and your strength in your thirties, if you compare the guys on worlds strongest man to the ones in mister universe, universe has more definition and strongest man has more strength.  When you work out if you want stringth do more reps less weight, if you want shape and bulk more weight less reps.

It is sterio typical with the hair thing, but legs without getting to graphic well lets just say they are a road map to the promised land and the longer more intriguing they are the more you captivate your audience.
