i get really fed up with all the bounty hunters in star-wars that thimk they're better than jango/boba

please reply and tell me if you can think of any :/ :o:O

Everyone is better tha Jango. I do not think that many consider themselves a better bounty hunter than Boba. Rissu Nu was not necessarily canon. Jodo was possibly one of the greatest bounty hunters. Boba acknowledged this. Jodo also came close to besting Fett. Bossk is an idiot.

I disagree with what you said about Jango. If you think about it, setting all hatred aside, there's probably a few Bounty Hunters who are beneath him.

What about Dengar, IG-88 and Aurra Sing? They seem like, if they tried hard enough, they could be better than Boba. Zuckuss and 4-LOM seem...I don't know, weak. Bossk is too driven by bloodlust, and not very smart, so he could never be better than he currently is.

Draco, there are bounty hunters that are worse than Jango... And there are better ones too.

Thylacine, IG-88 can never be better than Boba, but Dengar could maybe be. That's only my opinion, though.

Bossk is the only one in that group who really thinks he's better than Boba. The others have tried to roll with him once in a while and gotten their toes stepped on as a result, but they don't actually think they're at his level.

Dengar definitely acknowledged Boba as the best in the business on more than one occasion. I think at least one of the others did as well. But none of the other hunters (save Bossk) are stupid enough to think that they're on the same level as him.

I couldn't think of a better word at the time. Cowardly is more a more accurate word. I'm not saying they're complete cowards, but compared to the others in the "group", they are.

Yes but what did they do cowardly 4-Lom has taken on Boba Fett before .

I was reading this one book (I forgot what it was called) with the Bounty Hunters in it. Zuckuss had this "I don't think that's such a good idea", nervous attitude in it. I gotthe impression that he was sort of cowardly from that.

I'm not sure about 4-LOM in that book, since I don't recall if he was in it or not. I just assume he was similar to Zuckuss.

In the bounty hunter wars they show him in more of a cowerdly way where as in tales of the bounty hunters he seems a much better hunter.

If you were Bossk's partner, wouldn't you be nervous?

I think anyone with the ego that most (if not all) bounty hunters have/had will think they are better than everyone else.

Greedo just had a lot of hard luck.  I think IG could've gotten near Boba's level with his sheer lack of emotion and calculations.  Dengar could have too, but then he decided to settle down.  And I think he got killed by Mara Jade...I still think that Boba is and always will be the top of the league. (For the record, I think Bossk is the opposite of IG-88; is powered by his emotions,a dn doesn't always think rationally)

IG-88 rocks. Dengar is kinda weird. Bossk is mental. Greedo does pwn, because he did shoot 1st but he missed and got fried. I hate Jodo Kast. Jango was great (The one thing that I disagree with you abut, draco), and Zuckuss and 4-LOM had the potential, but they still sucked. Overall, Boba is waaaaaaaaaaay better all of them!

I like Bossok, mental but cool. Dengar, waaaaaaaaaaaaay cool. IG-88 prety awesome for his plan in tales of the bounty hunters Greedo, pretty alright. Zuckuss and 4-LOM right about the potential, but sometimes people dont do the best job of portraying great concept characters.
Jodo Kast dont know much about him, but hes pretty much as mall santa is to teh easterbunny/santa/other holiday things/people to bounty hunters. Fake.
Finnaly Boba: Good character, good portrayal. Way awesome.

Boba's always awesome.  It would take serious effort for a writer to mess up how he is protrayed.

To my understanding that was a poser.  I had asked that here as well.

As far as hunters , they all had their potential, but fell pray to poor conceptual execution by writers. Of course the hunters who got the most face time would be considered the best.

Bossk blinded by rage, IG-88 undone by his megolamania when his last copy was destroyed after transferring himself to the doomed Death Star (the other two destroyed by Fett in personal combat), Dengar (unsure...killed by Mara Jade?, never heard that), Zuckuss and 4LOM (driven by more personal, less grandiose pursuits...didn't they join the Rebellion?), and the list gets longer.

The Fett has been around longer than any of them, and is highly motivated and clever. Case in point The Bounty Hunter trilogy. 

All in all, no comparison...

Ok... maybe i'm biased, but Fett could beat all of those guys. Your examples are a little messed up. IG-88 was second best I think, Bossk was strong and skilled, but his anger and hunger got in the way. Dengar is really good, but still couldn't touch Fett. 4-LOM and Zuckuss were not cowardly, but for some reason in "The Mandalorian Armor" Zuckuss was very cowardly. But, I say "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" has the true story because it was published in 1996, and "Armor" was in 1998. And where did all this anti Jango sentiment come from?
