Topic: Boba Fett Vs. Kir Kanos

Interesting thought as I dug up my Crimson Empire comic and read it again.  Who do you think would win?  I'm leaning towards Kir here because he not only specializes in hand-to-hand he isn't a half bad shot either.  But, Kir was easily beaten by Darth Vader (but the way Vader fought him was a bit of a stretch).

Boba Fett would win.

Yeah Boba would demolish him not saying Kir Kanos is bad but he is deffinatly not as good as Boba in many ways.

I think Kir Kanos could stretch it to a draw....

Is he as smart as Boba? I also doubt he is a fast as Boba and Boba deffinatly beats him in the weaponry department.

Bobas gear will own Kanos anyday, and Kanos would be outsmarted by Fett.

But, there is speculation among fans that Kanos may be force-sensitive,  and he easily blocks blaster bolts with his vibrosword.  To be selected from among the millions of stormtroopers, then selected by Palpatine himself, you are going to have to be smart, agile, and versatile (weapons-wise).  I'm pretty sure the emporer wouldn't entrust his life to a half-wit nobody.  He and Boba are almost totally void of emotions, and they are both cold, calculating, bounty hunters.  I think it would be extremely close, either a draw or Boba by a hair.

You gotta remember that the final part of royal gaurd training is to fight one of their own to the death by any means nesasary.

Just to let you know around Kir Kanos's time Fett is like what 50? 60? hes not as fast as he used to be and Kanos is still young. I saw Draw

In that case Boba wins by 2 hairs. Like I said before, Kir Kanos just doesn't have the intelligence.

Apparently in SW 70 is about middle aged. Kanos is all about close combat right. Where as Boba is highly skilled at close combat and using blaster's. Boba has done much more in his life i am certain Boba would win.

Kir Kanos isn't stupid. If the Imperial Guard are the best of the best of the best. Then Kanos is surely the best of the best of the best of the best (thats one more best for you slower people.)

And Kanos has certainly pulled some pretty skilled feats. He shot the pilot of a tie fighter and caused it to spin off and destroy some enemy troops or something. (I cannot be bothered to check exactly what he did.)

So to say Kanos doesn't have the intelligence to beat Fett, isn't quite right....

Its more to do with startegy and skill. If they both had a hand-to-hand fight, there's no telling who would win, Mandalorian Martial arts vs Echani arts. In terms of general all-my-weapons-vs-all-of-yours, chances are Fett would win because Kanos is not impervious to explosives. In terms of skill in battle, they are both very skilled fighters. In terms of upper-hand due to tactics, Boba ismore likely to get it because he's very agile.

If they did a comic "Kanos Vs. Fett" I think there is no chance whatsoever of it being a win for Kanos. Saying that, I doubt it would be a win for Fett, although that option is slightly more likely. All in all, I think they would end this in a draw.

Yeah i would call it close but I think Boba is a bit smarter than him not saying Kanos is thick just saying Boba is really smart and Boba is more tachticlt minded i think this would win him the fight. By the way we said Boba could beat Maul do you think Kanons would beat Maul?

Like, Vader could beat Jango....Not much doubt there.

And Jango could beat several dark jedi and sith.

But Vader would lose to the very same sith and dark jedi as he is not able to survive force lightning....

....Its harder because we do not know whether or not Kanos' staff can deflect lightsabers...Assuming they can... Kanos would stand a pretty good chance against Maul... He killed Carnor Jax after all...

Sure he can block blaster bolts, but Boba has many non-blaster weapons. Boba wins.

ooo good call Revan. Because we all know Kanos can't move, so the moment Boba fires a rocket it's over. But seriously, i'm sure Kanos has other weapons also, and if he can deflect blaster bolts i'm pretty sure he has the reflexes to dodge a rocket. Since I am not a source of knowledge on Kanos, not sure how he would fair against the flamethrower, but chances are good in the end that it would be really really close.

But I do give it to Boba, on the fact that he is a much more renouned bounty hunter, and he does have more experience under his belt (i think).
