I heard Yautja and Sci were friends in the real world. I don't know anything more than that

Dude, time to watch the new Battlestar Galactica from Sci-Fi. That is hands down the best show on TV right now. So great. Rent the DVDs.
I tried watching it once... I changed the channel after ten minutes. Is it really THAT good??

It didn't really catch my attention, I watched an episode... felt bored.
Stargate sg-1 is probably and, in my opinion, the worst SF series out there :P I don't know what the new season is worth tho (with the actor who plays in Farscape - NOOOOOOOO!!!! He is John Crichton to me, nobody else :P)
But anyway, the BEST SF series that ever existed (to me) would be Firefly :)

I agree, this is an awesome show. Kind of reminds me a lot of Space: Above and Beyond. I had been hoping they would come out with some soundtracks for the show and finally found out that "Season 2" soundtrack is being released next week? I was like, where the heck did the other one's go? I guess they already had two other CD's out for it already. One for the pilot and another for the first season. It sucks being in the middle of nowhere. Can never find anything you're looking for. Thank God for Amazon.com
:-)

Yes. I'm totally hooked and I was VERY skeptical. The mini-series is no where near as good as the rest of the show but is really mandatory viewing before you can really launch into the series. My girlfriend, who REFUSES and HATES IT when I watch Star Wars or Star Trek, is now HOOKED on Battlestar Galactica. I'm telling you, if she can get into it, it has to be something special. Great show.

Battlestar Galactica (2003 - 2006) > Firefly
Do you guys get Dr Who in the US? It's an English series that's been around since the 40's or 50's (it finished in the 80's). They've finally started a new series and it rocks. I love the Tardis!
By the way I'm an only child. No siblings to blame, only my cousins :P

Aah! Ah! Blasphemy! :P
I never got to see Firefly... Although I am VERY interested in seeing it. :D :D Does the Sci-Fi channel air it?

Battlestar Galactica (2003 - 2006) > Firefly
That, sir, is blasphemy.
I don't like the new Battlestar. Honestly, in the episodes I forced myself to watch (I'll give it another chance!) notihing. ever. happened. It was just endless drama, like those other popular shows on TV I can't stand (The Shield, 24, etc); true, this one was in space, but that didn't change the fact that it bored me out of my mind.
That's what really struck me about Firefly: it had so much action that you never see in a TV show. That, and it's just so hilarious- Joss Whedon is such an amazing writer (it surprises me that he could come up with garbage like Buffy too), it astounds me. And for all around sci-fi, you can't beat fringe smugglers roaming around in a beat-up old transport ship.
I have a shirt that I proudly wear that says, in big SW block letters, "Joss Whedon is my master now". Nothing beats Firefly, nothing. (Yay Daenna!)
...Except maybe Serenity, but that doesn't count.

It's a pic of one of the prototype Boba Fett helmets. The original version had Jaig eyes painted on the top of the helmet. I think those look so much better. There were several variations proposed in original sketches with stuff on his helmet. A couple you actually see on the Clone Wars cartoon series. Commander Fordo has Jaig Eyes on his helmet while defending Coruscant.

One of the ARC Trooper pilot has one of the symbols that was originally on one of the Fett helmet sketches. I thought that was a nice tip of the hat to the original artists, and a neat little Easter Egg for us Fandolorians.
ARC Pilot:

Has the same symbol as the helmet on the bottom middle of this pic:

Did you use the force!?!!
Heh I forgot I said that...That's make me laugh...I made myself laugh.
Also Sadriel...I edited that Kal Skirata Helemt for you... Did you get my E-Mail about it?
Do you still use the E-Mail you have attached to your UserName...?
Miba....Could you please change your Avatar back to Carth?
I take it all back....I prefer it to your current avatar
By the way, I prefer your current Fett avatar to either of your previous avatars (that Is saw) The only downfall is that someone else used to have the same or similar avatar, so I keep forgetting its you.
What do you outlaw if you mean jedi went bad of coures Iam one
Just need to add my two cents:
-StarGate/ SG: Atlantis: let's just say there's a reason StarGate has lasted ten seasons, Atlantis three, and a third series is on the way. Wholeheartedly these are great sci-Fi shows. I've even named my cat after one of Atlantis' characters....
-The New Battlestar: Believe me, I've tried to watch the new Battlestar, when I first heard it was coming out, I was excited beyond compare, me being a fan of the original. I didn't even make it through the first episode (actually, the mini-series). I must admit, I had gone on the net and found out all the changes that they had made and was quite disappointed, but I still gave it a good chance, and I came out even more disappointed.
-Firefly: One of the greatest Sci-Fi series of my generation. Yes, it was short lived and not everyone gets it, but you have to give props to a show that can get a major motion picture made, when the show its self didn't even last one season.
-Dr. Who: Ahhhh!!!!! Don't get me started.....one of the best. Used to watch it really late at night on PBS when I was a kid, scared the living day lights out of me. So glad they started it back up, got the whole fandom started again, bringing in new people, and some who knew it, but didn't fall in love with it till recently (like me), and even those who have been fans of it for decades. Gah, it's fantastic! (pun intended of course:D)

I have (unfortunatly) never seen Firefly, but I saw Serenity. That was an incredibly great movie. I have only seen the newest episode of Doctor Who (a girl can make the pictures she draws come to life, among other things), and thought that it was great, though the plot was not extraordinary .
My hubby got the box set of Firefly, but we're yet to watch it (just haven't been in the mood to watch DVDs).
Love the new Dr Who also (bought the whole second series for the hubby for Christmas - I can say that here because I know he won't look ;) He loves his dose of Dr Who)
Saw the new James Bond flick the other night (Casino Royal) - very good. I recommend it :D

The car business is slow right now so I will ask anyone in the Northwest Ohio or SE Michigan need a car? Check out the co. web site if you are, and my real name is Mark Hunter.
Boy American cars are boxy. My next car shall be a Subaru Liberty though I'd prefer a Ford XR8 but I'm not that rich :D

Why not a VW GLI or GTI, very fast agile and not to pricey.
Hey BFFC Mel that super stom is not near you is it?
Not that I know of.
