I really need to get a 360, jsut for Halo 3.

THE ASSAULT RIFLE IS BACK WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!

And the best part! the guns acuttaly go on you back! unlike Halo 1 & 2, were you jsut pulled them from noware!

....Well when Halo 2 was coming out they were boasting relections in visors, mines, craters and a Quad Bike...

I was so looking forward to the quad bike....

The point I was making is nothing's final until its come out.

This game is the only reason we want a 360.

no not with halo 3 i mean i am getting 1 after xmas and i am an even bigger fan of the legend of zelda and when they had it on wii im like omg i have to get 1 but then i reconsidered and can wait 50 years for it to merge with something else and not be under nintendo's control anymore

I dont know too much about halo, I dont got an x box or anything i've only played the first one for computer and its great, was that master cheif at the begining?

Halo 3 is going to be awesome, Halo 2 kicked ass and so Halo 3 is just going to completely dominate. Only question is whether to buy the Legendary or Collectors edition. I really want the helmet model, but I don't wanna pay $100...

Yes, I believe it comes out next November.  So I'm considering buying a 360 but my mom says in another year they'll have a new system, but if in a years time the most highly anticipated game is only just coming out, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the 360 will still have at least another year after Halo 3 release.

There will be no new systems in the nesxt year lol! 360 still hasn't reached its peak, Wii and PS3 just came out, and no other comapanies can compete with these powerhouses. Plus next year may be one of the greatest gaming years ever (depending on your game preference) because games like Mass Effects, Too Human, Lost Odyssey, Bioshock, Shadowrun, and many other are all being released for 360. Plus the Wii will obviously be turning out some strange titles, and Armageddon is yet to be released for it. I'm not a big Playstation fan so I don't keep tabs on their games, but I'm pretty sure they will try to lob some crap titles at us for the 50 people who were able to get a PS3.

Back to Halo 3 though. Heads up for any 360 live owners, Bungie is holding registration for Halo 3 multiplayer beta testing. Just head over to www.halo3.com and follow the instructions, you have to have a linked gamertag to participate.

I wonder if they'll still have that on offer by Christmas....

as long as it doesnt get pushed back last second and don't forget other great games like Vangaurd and Archlord for pc! i want to be ruler of the land! pc games rock!

Nothing can beat a good ol' fashioned Lan party beat down with 8-16 friends all blowing eachother away in halo 2 mayhem. Good times... Good times...

In a lan party? Not unless you just so happen to be one of my friends... But since that is highly doubtful there is the chance on Live (gamertag?) or at a tournament(live in NJ?)

Well I haven't been Live for several months, so there is little point in me telling you my Gamertag now. But I do intend to get Live again when I get a 360.

And when I said that I meant in regular Multiplayer, not a LAN party....
