So of the Role-Playing ......Vs Boba Fett...

Who did we decide won.

I think Bane won.

I would say the Deltas won...But some of you disagreed with both Bane and them....Plus I made both of theose threads, so I'll confirm that Bane did actually win because not enoug of you have read Path Of Destruction and therefore your judgement on the issue is biased.

I say from that then Bane wins.

As for the Republic Commandos well that was slightly fairer as plenty of people here have read the books and played the games. So I'll leave it to someone else to make the decision on that one.

I think by and large we decided Fett would win...But if Fett had made much more than one miscalculation then he would lose....

Please, tell me how Boba, or Jar Jar, or Batman, could possibly beat Fett. Anything that any of them could do to 'Pool wouled be easily recovered from, especially Batman.

we've had the conversation about batman vs fett, but in my world, fett could beat jar jar, and jar jar could beat deadpool, because that's how much deadpool sucks.  wolverine has beat deadpool, and boba could beat wolverine, therefore boba can beat deadpool.  that and deadpool talks too much.

Your world is naive and biased. And about Boba beating Deadpool, it depensd what you mean by "beat". I'm sure Fett could defeat Deadpool, but actually killing Deadpool....

If it was a complete battle to the death with nearly anyone, Deadpool wins. He can be temporarily defeated, butin the long run he will win.

There is nothing that Batman, or Fett, or Jar Jar, could do to ultimatly defeate 'Pool.
A batarang, a gun, a blaster, these would not slow Deadpool down.

We have also had a coversation about Fett verses Deadpool aswell. What does that prove?

i just really despise the deadpool character, always have.  pretty much everything about the marvel universe these days sucks.  i was a long time reader and just about the biggest marvel fanboy, and i havn't picked up a marvel book in months.  last i knew it had spiraled completely out of control.  and as far as me being naive, gustavo, i'd like you to re-read the title of this thread, it's called "people who could beat fett."  since these are all fictitious characters, everyones opinion is biased, and it is my biased opinion that deadpool sucks and boba fett could defeat him.

That is exactly my point. Fett is definatly more skilled than than everybodys' (except Saint_naisty's) favorite merc with a mouth. St. Naisty, just because you do not like someon does not mean that they are weak, as Humorbot pointed out. For example, I do not like galctus, but I do like Venom. There is no way, however, that Venom could possibly best Galactus.

There are ways of killing Deadpool. Fett does not have any. Deadpool is popular enough to recieve his own movie. Is Fett getting his own movie?

ya know, i'm getting tired of everyone bashing on superman.  superman is an ideal.  wether the two jews that created him back in the 30's knew it or not, they made the best allegory for Christ since the new testament.  as a myth, superman shows us the best that is in us.  maybe if we all strived a little harder to be like superman, then we wouldn't have to strive so hard to destroy ourselves and our world.  a little idealistic, no doubt.  but it seems that truth and justice are quite lost in our world today.

We also happend to be tired of your Deadpool bashing. If we all tried to be like 'Pool, the world would be... we would all be... well, life would be more fun.

Just because I don't like the idea of Superman doesn't mean I don't stand for truth or justice. Justice is everything.

An the fact that Superman is "ideal" is the whole reason why I dislike him.
You buy a Spider-Man comic and you (usually) get an average guy doing is very best to stop people hell bent on destroying freedom. No matter who or what he is fighting there is always the chance that if it would kill a normal human, it would kill Spider-Man. You see his pain. you see him bleed, you see him fail. Thats why Spider-Man is one of the best Comic characterfs.

Superman does not have to worry about being seriously injured. His weakness is fairly easily identifiable to him, and seeing as he has X-Ray vision he can always see if someone's concealing it. So he died once? Big deal, he was back a couple of months later. Generally speaking though, when you read a Superman comic, you can be fairly sure he'll have experienced things that would seriously injure, kill or just generally hurt a normal man or Spider-Man and yet he looks like he had led a life wrapped in cotton wool.

The other thing is...his secret identity. I wear glasses and I know for a fact that they slip down or fall off from time to time and yet very few people know that Clark Kent is Superman. And why does he need to keep a secret identity anyway? A less powerful superhero such as Spider-man had the balls to admit to the world, and all his enemies, who he really was, so why doesn't Superman?

A much more likely candidate for the role of someone to look up to being like is Spider-Man and not Superman.

Now....Back on topic.

Edit: Look, I don't want any of this to come between us all, so I for one am sorry if I have irritated or offended you in anyway.

Superman may suck (and I think he does) because of his abilites, but in all seriousness he was the first true superhero. He was the one who started people on comics and superheroes.

And hey since we are talking about him, why not throw him in as a winner against Fett. Anyone who looks at the fight unbiased would easily realize Superman would win. Damn him and his invulnerability.

I don't think superman is a christ figure. Just because he stands for truth and justice? Because he tries to be the best he can be? By that logic the guy who represents the army on the commercial is a christ figure. Lets all try to be more like Superman! So we should hide our true self behind a pair of glasses and a suit? Superman has more relationships than Kent does, so who is he protecting? Nobody, he is representing his thoughts on humanity by symbolizing our species in a weak and insecure man.

I have never seen any Christ figures other than Christ himself, so let's just leave it at that.

I think that Zabuza should be in ties. It took Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura to defeat him and Haku.

I see Batman isn't in there. Perhaps he should be in the probable winners section...

Ok that's going a bit too far. The only reason Fett isnt going to have a movie of himself is because Lucas wont allow it.

What about Yoda? I'm pretty sure there was a thread a while back about him. Yoda is probably one of the greatest jedi (I mean he was 900 years old) and he took on the emperor face to face.

Even the great Boba Fett would get his noggin lopped off if he went against Yoda. Or perhaps have his own rockets turn around and blow him up instead! ;)

Well I went through the entire Role Playing section and the only ones I didn't include were the Boba Fett and Darth Vader team-ups.
