Topic: Jango: Worthy to be a Fett?

Yea three good points there draco, i think they should have made Jango almost exactly like Boba but he just isnt as good in so many ways. But some of the stuff he has done was amazing. Although at the battle of Galidrain he kills many Jedi but stupidly he stoped fighting personally i wouldnt think Boba or a mandalorian wouldnt have stopped fighting.

Maybe he was to tired.

Yeah, adrenaline DEFINATLY kicks in when there are ALL the jedi around and most of them are after YOU!

No matter how badass you are ... I dont think you can stop a jedi, especially Windu.  Jango put up a valliant fight, killing one jedi who went after Dooku, making him (in my opinion at least) worthy to be a Fett.

In open seasons Jango kills many jedi with his bare hands.

Finally, someone else who has read opening seasons and knows what Jango can do against jedi.  I strongly suggest you read opening seasons, arsenic105.

this is true. We at BFFC have become SO confident with Boba fett, that we hanvt realized how HARD a jedi is to take down. :/

In certain other ones he has done some things that if Boba were in that situation he would have handled them muhc better... Still nobody can say he wasent impressive in open seasons, i was impressed when it showed him taking down 2 death whatch at once and he did some really cool moves.

Well, there's something rather final about the amethyst lightsaber in Windu's hands...  For those of you who doubt Mace's power, read 'Revenge of the Sith'.  It's one of the best books that I've ever read.

Boba is supposed to be not only the best BH alive in the galaxy of his time, but possibly ever.  That means that he has to be better, even slightly, than his own father.  Let's give Jango a break.  How would you like to be compared to Boba?

I think Jango is worthy to be a Fett. After all, he has killed quiet a few Jedi. And if it weren’t for a jetpack malfunction, Windu wouldn’t have killed him so easily.
....I’ve noticed jetpack malfunctions run in the family...;)

Boba was in loads of danger he was held captive at gun point. It is in a tales comic.

You fail to remember Draco, that Boba to had a daughter and was also putting her in considerable danger. Although it is true that Jango seemed somewhat easy to kill, He taught Boba most of his skills. Boba conectrates on stealth, Jango has more of a * Get off you're butt and Kill that worthless dikut'la * edge. But then again, it's true. Boba did grow up to be more ruthless than his Father, and survived the Sarlaac. But no without cost, it still caused him physical damage that are likely to slow his reactions. As you age you're reactions to things are fading as well. Jango was old, so there probally is a difference. When he was young his reactions were at there peak. As he got older..you get the picture. And if his jetpack haden't gone KABOOM!! he probally would've wiped the planet of Mace Windu. Also it seemed that Mace knew where to kill Jango since Mace tried to kill Boba in the series, using a lightsaber. But Boba Survived. Jango was sliced at the neck so...Bye bye Jango. Ironic that Boba survived a Blow to the head. Considering that Jango taught the Clones how to fight, they were able to kill Jedi. True it was from a distance, but remember. The Clones were made to be less indepenent than the origanal host      ( Jango) So basically saying that Jango taught his Clones his habit of Killing Jedi, and teaching his son. The Rest of Boba's talent is probally hard earned skill. After Jango was killed. * Soon all that will remain is the heritage and armor upon a man to easily slain by Jedi * ( Kreia, KOTOR II ) I'm not saying that Boba is less than Jango. I think they are both rightfully able to be called Fetts.

Jango was far from an old man. From my understanding, he was in his mid thirties. Mace would have killed Jango either way. Boba only survived because Palpatine stepped in. About the "Get off you're butt and kill that worthless dikut'la" edge, I suggest that you read "No Disinagrations Please" in Tales of the New Republic and Overkill.

I have never said that they are invincible. Officiall, they are not equal. Officially, Boba is the greatest bounty hunter ever. By oficial, I mean from the Databank.

Right now im going to help draco's side Boba surpases Jango on all levels and if you think Boba is completly about covert tactics your definatly wrong. In story No Disentigrations draco was reffering to Boba kills an entire imperial garrison to get to one man. Impressive?

but yes Boba is much more deadly thasn Jango ever was, Boba learned alot he knew from Jango and more.

The ferocious animal was a Vaapad, a creature with lots of whipping tentacles. Only Mace and his apprentice Depa Billaba mastered Vaapad.
