Actually he called Jin Chewie because he couldn't understand him....and yeah, I noticed that and thought it was pretty funny too.

i think sawyer reminds me most of boba...any one else think that?
―Peter Griffin
Yes, now that I think about it.

Ay! Who watched the premiere? The opening was INSANE...all my friends were like "is this back in the outside world? A flashback?" And then they all run outside and watch the plane tear in half...*shivers up spine*...this marks the first season that LOST can do pretty much whatever it wants, seeing as it's a 99% guaranteed hit through to the seventh season, where shows usually stop. If you remember, they added a bunch of new elements in the season 2 finale...the giant green bird shouting Hurley's name (where is Hurley anyway? I thought he was with Jack/Kate/Sawyer...), the Collossus foot with four toes...etc, plus the unresolved fate of Mr. Eko and Locke, which is mysterious considering that Desmond is DEFINETELY alive, but the creators won't say anything about Mr. Lecko...
Plus, it turns out Walt probably isn't as psychic as we thought he was. Seeing as the polar bears were kept in cages, and probably not derived from Walts mind...which rules out any chance of Walt finding a comic book with Fett and having the man himself come out of nowhere...that would be about the second-craziest thing they could do, but would still BE THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER...
Sorry, I rant a bit, I'm a big time LOST fan. It's an awesome show, in case you haven't noticed. ^_^

Hurley gets told to go back to the village at the end. and what about when Sied? dno ho to spell his name was on the boat with Jin and his wife and their was the half statue of a foot with 4! toes. answers i need to know!
―Peter Griffin
I know. Hopefully they will give us at least a few answers next week. But it was a great premiere. I can't wait for the next episode!

I loved the part where Sawyer "Wins" the little food challenge in his cage. He was so happy =P.
"Only took the bears two hours"
Hail to the King Baby!!
LOL i bet that fish bizkit was gross tho...and what happened to kate? i think maybe she was *ahem* taken advantage of...she may be pregnant by end of the season i bet.

Me too. That was one of my favorite parts actually.

Did anybody catch the title to the Stephen King book that the new blonde lady was holding? All I saw was Stephen King written at the top.
Dageen Fett: My Mom and I both agree with you. We're thinking that it's a selective breeding program or something.
Jin is going to be crazed; his wife's pregnant and she's been shot. I would be soo angry.
the real question is why did that guys name who can't remember who said he was henry gale say the next 2 weeks were going to be hard on her? * bum bum buuummmm!*
―Peter Griffin
I believe the book was Stephen King's Carrie
His name was Ben. That's the real mystery, why are the next two weeks going to be so unplesant?
--Boba Fett
new episode soon...we shall see...
―Peter Griffin
His name may be Ben, but he'll always be Fenry (Fake Henry) to me.
I didn't make the connection between the polar bears and the cages until Balancesheet pointed it out. I know that they said the bears were in them, but bears never clicked as polar bears for me. Aha.
Are you sure Sun got shot? I thought she rolled out of the way.
BFFC Moderator
No, she didn't get shot. She rolled off the boat to avoid getting shot, but I can see how you would think that from the previews...
Yeah, even though his name is Benjamin Lynus, I will always call him Fenry, everyones been calling him that for so long that it's stuck in my head! ;)
--Boba Fett
hmm his full name is Benjamin Lynus...rings a bell to the Peanuts character...spelt different im sure but still with lost there may be a connection...and if oyur going to pick someone to win the world series you better pick someone other then the redsox! ahahaha i love that lne

i realize this thread is coldish- but i am also a fan of lost.
it is just a great show.
by the way did you notice how sawyer killed the other sawyer?
a nod to star wars?...
I've heard people talking about it in my school, and one of them said something about "The Monster." What is that?
no one knows...the show is one question after another.
its this black smoke monster that stalks them, but it moves real quick.
I thought it was a Survivor-esque show. I'll try to watch it. Sounds Stephen Kingish.
nope, i loathe reality tv.
but if ur gonna sink ur teeth into lost you should start at the beginning.(season 1 dvd).
it would probably set you back a few bucks- but there is just not much to watch these days.
...smoke monster.
its not king-ish...really.
it keeps you off balance with metaphysical, existential, the unknown and its full in anagrams...
it rewards the discerning viewer.
its on par with books like-
1. an occurence at owl creek.
2. the third police man.
all very good but complex reads.
oh and a personal note to draco...with regards to our s.king conversation.
i also enjoyed "the mist" one of his short stories. and have you seen the preview
to his new flick 1408 with cusack? looks intense.
warning the preview is a bit creepy...

Thank you Cujo.
It sounded reminicent of Desperation, or the Mist to me, but I've never seen it before. I'll have to see that movie.
Though i'd liek to know that the season opened the blonde chick whose name escapes me that used to have a thing with Ben, was holding a stephen king book so its a nice tie in even if it isnt really stephen king like, i think a few things are but not much.
―Peter Griffin
ur right dageen.
the book from their book club was (carrie)telekinesis. alot of the books that the characters are reading on the show, including the ones from my previous post- deal with the manipulation of time, and other assorted lofty subjects. which makes the show both very interesting and often annoying. cause you feel like ur on the outside looking in.
i think lost is a boring show. i tried to watch a few episodes, but i had better fun reading Lord of the Flies.
i think that is a fair statement.
i too tried to watch the show a few times before it took.
it has alot of flashbacks etc, which tend to annoy me.
one thing that has to be considered is that with out starting at the beginning you are truely lost-
as a viewer.
lord of the flies a good choice though.
