Topic: My Fanfic

Im beginning a fanfic about Boba Fett and a femme Mandalorian named Cahira Stargazer. It takes place when Fett's still in his early teens. Still in the planing process. Here's a preview...

After a fierce battle with rogue mercernaries, Boba Fett crash lands on a strange planet. Turns out, it's a forgotten planet inhabited by Mandalorians. A young female Mandalorian by the name of Cahira Stargazer rescues him and nurses him back to health. During his stay on the planet, he learns more about Cahira's sad past and her current role as an elite squad leader for the Mandalorian army. As Boba prepares to leave, war breaks out between the newly-reformed Death Watch and the inhabitants of the planet. Boba must now face a decision; go back to bounty hunting before the war gets worse or stay and fight with the Mandalorians and discover his heritage. In the frozen tundra regions of this forgotten planet, destinies and fates will be revealed.

So what do you think? Mebe it's too AU? Darn my over-reactive imagination!

I thought it was ok, a little fast for an introduction but you started off as the "crash-landing-on-unknown-planet-rescued-by-pretty-woman" so I have to say that it's not very original... But you got some Mando/DW conflict in there so I do hope the plot twists quickly into something deeper :)

AU is alternate universe. It's gonna get deeper. Only reason it's an unknown planet because i couldn't think of a Mando planet that has terrain like Alaska or the northwest U.S. I based my character off Boudicca, a Celtic queen during the Roman rule of Britain. It's going to be a full scale war between the Mandos and Death Watch. And i really don't want to give away a lot of plot, that's why i wasn't specific.

Curious where this will lead... Especially how you deal with Fett in his teens. The memory of his father's death would be still kind of raw, wouldn't it? I want to see where you take this.

Thanx for the comments...i really appreciate them. :) This is my first fanfic, so please dont get mad if i screw things up. Im workin on the 1st chapter...might take a little while because this is Homecoming Week @ my school, and im involved a lot. Im thinking with Fett in his teens he's not going 2 be very cold and ruthless, but on the verge. Any ideas? Im open 2 any ideas or comments.

This sounds like a promising Fanfic. I'm looking forward to seeing how your going to portray teenage Boba and how Cahira's going to turn out.

Just make sure she doesn't turn into a Mary-Sue (Here's a link just in case you need to know more about Mary-Sue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Sue ) and that Boba isn't whiny or anything like that and you'll be fine. :)
