If Boba did die in action, it wouldn't be from a few measly mercenaries.  It would probably be from a couple of Krayt dragons, or maybe about 50 jedi together.

At first I panicked, but now I'm thinking that if she were really killing off Boba, then she wouldn't have put it in the preview.  Why give away such an important surprise?  As for Aylin I have no answers, but it sounds like I won't be reading this book.

Well im pretty sure hes not because I went on a website called wookiepedia NOT wikipedia and I looked up boba fett and I was reading it and once I got to the end it said he thought he was ill like you said so he was going to kamino to get one of his legs replaced with a robotic one since his left one was bad.A kaminoin gave him a job (bounty).He accepted since he thought that it would be his last bounty of his career.On his journey for the bounty he finds his ..........daughter!!!!.And at the end it said that boba acomplished 3 things 1:become best bounty hunter. 2:find his daughter. 3:cheat death.

I think that you are getting some facts mixed up. Boba went to Kamino to get his leg cloned, and he met Taun We. The job was to find and kill Fenn Shysa (spelling?). Fett almost died, but Fenn save his life. In the upcoming Bloodlines, Fett says that he must do those three things.

Must you guys nitpick all that I say?  Of course Boba couldn't take 50 jedi.  When people want to illustrate a large ammount of something, they sometimes just say 50 as a random number to prove their point, as I did.  My point is, he could kill a lot of jedi singlehandedly, so no mercenaries could handle him.  And I've said this several times, read Jango Fett: Opening season, where you will see that even unarmed, Fett can take a lot of jedi.

Yea true in a battle situation when there's people on his team 1 on 1 he could take them and then move on to the next. Boba has killed lots of Jedi too and drew in a battle with Vader.

If fifty mercenaries in the same league as Aurra Sing, Fett would not survive. Sing is a master Jedi hunter.

But don't forget that sing was once a jedi herself, so pitting fett against 50 aura sings is just like pitting boba against that many jedi.

I would imagine that if Boba is not destined to check out in style, he would probably disappear altogether.
From what I've read into the Mandalorian culture, death in battle is honorable... but engaging in reckless suicidal combat (regardless of the personal circumstances) is not of thier customs.
If he knew death was iminent, I think he would opt instead to vanish from public view once again... and let the wickedness in the galaxy continue to fear his legacy.

I don't mind if Boba buys the farm this time. He's lucky to have made it to a grand old age, and not many people get to spend their last days as the leader of a very cool nation.

Still, it would be better if he gets himself sorted out.. after all, it wouldn't exactly be had to find suitable replacement organs and such...

Boba Fett is a living breathing entity. He is bound to die at some point in his legendary career. But, I believe he will pass on his ways to a clone of himself, or at least I hope for such actions as these fron our esteemed Boba Fett. Maybe something will come along to miraculously bring him back to life. Don't doubt that he won't come back, or possibly die at all.

Blarg. why is everyone hating on bloodlines? i read it and its actually pretty awesome.... i personaly think that karren travis handles boba better than lucas ever did.... but seriously, travis deals with ailyn and bobas illness really well....

Sigh, all my fav people are dying... and they're dying in lame, lame ways. We need to add more action to death here people... it is my best opinion that movie characters, and especially good ones should not just "pass away" no! they need glorious, dramatic, action filled, valient deaths , which include them doing acts of ,good/evil or whatever makes them who they are. Just getting old and sick makes for a lame fictional demise.
