Does anyone know if the commandos made any kills during order 66 or if they hunted any jedi down that tried to escape the order it would be interesting to find out.

If i'm not mistaken (which I probably am) at least 1 group of commandos did not carry out the order due to he fact that they had served with jedi in past missions. They were later killed by Vader.
R.I.P. Star Wars Galaxies :'( (order 66 is slang for the update that ruined the game)
Hail to the King Baby!!
this is very contriversal. The order 66 will come up in Republic Commando 2, and I doubt any commandos will refuse to execute some jedi. Plus it will make the game much more fun. ;) What Im excited about is the change from clone trooper commandos to stormtrooper commandos \! :D

The group that Fetterthanyou is talking about is in the book, Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. Since RC's have more individual thought than regular clones they refused to kill their commander, and in fact, helped him escape. Those were the ones who took on Vader and got killed. Karen Traviss has stated that her RC books (two more are due out) will cover Order 66 in one of the future books. Personally, I can see Delta Squad wanting to carry out the orders and Omega Squad not, since Etain is having Darman's kid. So, it may be interesting to see the interaction between those two squads, seeing as they kind of don't like each other already.

ah, so the RC's are actually going against other clones. and Vader! Ok, then that sticks right in there with the clone rebellion! :D But thats another story.....That would be cool if you could play "Imperial Commando" after order 66. :)

I don't think all the RC's are going against the other clones. But some of the ARC's and RC's didn't carry out Order 66, however, most of them did.

The Clone Rebellion, now that I think of it, was something different, though, if you're talking about the one in Battlefront 2. Their batch was actually made to be that way by some rebellious Kaminoans who didn't like the Empires control. That's the one that Boba Fett was sent in on to help quell. All of those clones were executed, though, if I remember correctly.
That actually kind of makes me want to play a little Battlefront 2 tonight.

Well its fairly obvious that most did, i mean they are highly trained soldiers. Going against an order would be like breaking the one rule that you live your life by.
Thx for expanding on my limited knowledge Sadriel

The only reason I remember that is because I just finished reading Dark Lord. I have plenty of time to read, while I'm down here, because there's not much else to do. Most of everything else down here was wiped out by Katrina. Only two more months, though, and I'm outta here, thank God. Woo Hoo!!

No, wasn't here when it happened. But, they still kept the Weather school here. I would have hoped for something more cooler. It's too dang hot down here.

this is an awsome but 'all the time action' game. I rented it for my xbox and lovin it so far. I like the designs of their helmets
Yes it's a good game.
And I'll have to read those books you're talking about.
I already like this site :)
Great source of information!
Everyone should check out this movie. Too bad only chapter 1's ready.
There was indeed one squad of Republic Commando's that disobeyed order 66.
Capt Climber's squad in Dark Lord:The Rise Of Darth Vader.
Its a good book and has a bit of clone action in it.
Commander Appo pop's up a bit here and there as well.

Appo is in that book? That means that I have to read it. Is it any good?
Its a great book.
Its obviously more about Vader than anything else but clones are in it in some parts.
Appo is only in it a little bit but he see's some action.
Question If Etain has the child of a clone will it grow at an acclerated rate, and I didn't think that jedi were supposed to have childeren. Part of the reson that Anikin went to the dark side?? right.
Good question about the accelerated aging thing. I personally think the Mandalorian in the book "Bloodlines," that wants Boba to be a more pro-active Mandalore is going to turn out to be Etain and Darman's son. The guy's Mandalorian name supposed to translate into "Little Saber." That sounds like the son of a Jedi to me. It would be very cool if it is. It would be really cool if they have a scene at the end of the last Commando book, that has the meeting between Boba Fett, Mirta Gev, and the "Mysterious Clone with the gray gloves." It would bring things full circle, with the Commando books and Bloodlines, at least.

Only the clones that had Order 66 in their flash learning process would follow it commandos and arc's may have had different so called versions in the process. Take Cody for example hands Obi-Wan his lightsaber only to then receive the trigger of Order 66 to pass on to the sniper that shots at Obi.
