And as mentioned on IGN.com there's a new Star Fox game slated for release in August of this year. Star Fox Command for the DS, I can't wait. Hopefully it's not as bad as Adventures was.

I have never been a fan of aviator games, but I might try that one. They need to make a game in which you can play as the Star Wolf characters.
You get to fly a Wolfen in this one if that's what you mean.

I really like star fox in the super smash bros series, But I've never owned one of star fox's games, they seem fun though, because I try them out at game stores and stuff.
Oh, and sadly I don't have a DS
DO A BARREL ROLL!!! *repeat 50 times*
All i remember from the star fox 64 (i think that was the name) but the series was good until he started fighting dinosaurs....
Hail to the King Baby!!
Star Fox Adventures was a huge letdown for me, it was nothing but puzzles although the graphics were excellent. But Assualt was the return of greatness I think.
Here's the trailer for the new game by the way.

It seems interisting, but I'm with holding judgement till I get to play it.
I did a little back research, Adventures and Assualt were done by a third party company. So, Nintendo found the guys who did Star Fox 64 way back when. He got the headset back, which I kind of missed but never really cared about. So, I'm hoping it's everything it's cracked up to be.

Yeah but between the two, Assault was incredibly Star Fox like. The reason Adventures was different is because it WASN'T a Star Fox game!! Nintendo just pushed Rare to make it Star Fox for whatever reason, but it was, indeed, supposed to be its own seperate game. But no one can really complain though since we got Krystal.
Since we got Wolf back in Assualt and lost Pigma and Andrew in the process I'm good. Leon and Panther are fine with me.

I like Leon, but I hate Pigma. I know a fair amount about the series.
I can do the voices of Leon, the Enginer from Macbeth, Wolf, and Meteo on occasion from the 64 game.
Comand might actually have audio too when it comes out.

My favorite character is still Skippy. Gotta love when she starts spewing gibberish at you for minutes at a time.
Hail to the King Baby!!
if you mean Slippy Toad, he's a guy.

slippy... skippy... guy... girl... bah whatever :P
Hail to the King Baby!!
Could someone help me find the audio from Star Fox 64 between Caimen and the general on the Area 6 level? I was hoping to find it on the net instead of recording from the game.

What was the conversation about?
Hail to the King Baby!!
It's the one from my signiture.
It's for an AMV I'm trying to make in my spare time.
Caiman: Caiman Here. No problems Do you copy? EMERGENCY MANUEVERS!
General: Did we get'em?
Caiman: Not yet sir! They're broken through the first line!
They're through the second line!
General: FIRE! FIRE! Don't let'em through!
Caiman: The last line has been breached!
General: These guys are crazy! Dang, Deploy it now!

Actually if you look at pictures, Andrew is alive and well, though it looks like he's on his own still.
I think this game is a recycle of SF2 that was completed, but never released for reasons unknown. But I don't see any sign of those girls in this game... At least not yet.
I meant the fact that Andrew left Star Wolf.

Definitly a psudo recycle of the scrapped SF2, but minus Miyo and Fay for some reason (unless they secretly appear later on).
Definitly looks interisting.
I miss Laylat Wars....*sniff*
That's the other name for Star Fox 64 isn't it?

Yes it is...*sighs*good times...
Alrighty listen up! I just bought this game today today and it pwns just about any other aviator game out there.
It mostly done with the stylus, but don't worry. The controls are fun & intiuitive, even if doing the barrel roll is a little hard to get used to. The music is good, and there is audio for the characters, but it's just nonsensical gibberish like in Animal Crossing. And there's like....alot....of ships to use, all of them are cool, but the wolfen is one of the best. Plus 9 endings and the ability to play as so many people makes this game truly sweet. Oh, but Pigma is in it, though.
Pigma? GAH!!! I hate that lardass! ><
Good to hear though that they've brought back the Lylatian talk though. Brings back the old game memories.
Good to hear it's a fun game, can't wait to play it. But I guess I can deal with Pigma.

Lol they have the Lylat language again that is so funny lol.
I think, therfore i am I destroy, therfore i endure - IG-88 tales of the bounty hunters
Besides Pigma's only in 2 of the branching paths, and he's the final boss in them, too. I just beat his piggie behind and it was really hard.
But he shouldn't even be ALIVE. You're counting on him to survive getting blown up, get uninfected by the Aparoids, and to SURVIVE IN SPACE. He needs to friggin stay. DEAD!
Yeah his previous fate is acknowledged, but Pigma just gives a half-butted ( ;) ) explanation.
