This is a lot like the what do your names and avatars mean thread and sorry if its been done before.

Mine is a quote from a friend and my response after watching Dead Man's Chest.

My signature comes from the video game starwars battle frontII, it means that supposably the dark side is stronger than the light side, says the Count...

mine is from the Karen Traviss' book,triple zero.it's mando for don't mess with mandalorians

mine is a frase i made up using Mando'a. It means Who am I without him? Without him there is no me. In all without him, I am nobody. I don't know why i made it up I just did.

Mine is self explanatory....

Mine is a quote from the Movie "They Live" starring the pro wrestler Roddy Piper. I just always thought it was hilarious ever since i saw the movie. There are hundreds of great (stupid) lines from it including :

Frank: I've walked a white line my entire life, I'm not about to screw that up.
Nada: White line's in the middle of the road, that's the worst place to drive.

I loved that movie!

Mine is nothing much, just a quotation of nothing.

Mine's a quote from Lewis B. Puller, as is stated. I chose it because it shows just how truly badass the Marines are, staying confident and bloodthirsty even when surrounded and outgunned. Like my avatar, I just thought it was cool at first, but SciFi turned me towards the Marines, and now I can't get enough. Semper Fi.

I love that quote! Marines are awsome. A friend of mine is training to be one right now.

Mine changes a lot, but it's always a funny quote from either Firefly or Serenity, its movie version. Joss Whedon's such an amazing writer...that entire series was just hilarious.

Mine is an old Greek Spartan saying.  Families would say this to their loved ones and soldiers going off to war.  If you fell in battle, you were carried back home on your shield (since they didn't have strecher bearers back in the day, I suppose).  It was the only honorable way to come home from war.  If not, then you were considered a coward.  So, you either came back with the army, "with your shield", or you died during combat and was brought back"on it."

My signiture is from Poe's story "The Masque of the Red Death." It means that no one can ecscape death.

Awesome story.  I remember having to do a poster for that, in Jr. High.  We were supposed to draw a scene from the story.  I remember having the background being the guy in red, and a couple of pics from the story being in the bottom two corners of the poster.  Return of the Jedi had just come out the year before, though, so I drew the Red Death to look kind of like an Imperial Royal Guard.  It actually turned out really nice, which is surprising because I can't draw for squat.  I wish I still had it.

My signature is something I just put it together from Mando'a.  I meant for it to be "Mandalorians Forever" --- 'darasuum' actually means eternity, but the meaning of the phrase is there. ;)

OH! the "I'm smiling" line--I got that from an email forward a friend sent me.  I thought that line is just too funny in a dark way and I love it!

See where the red covers his arm a bit? I think that's suppose to be where he's coming out of the image. I like the general look of it better than the "coming out of it" part anyway.

Mine is a blessing from the mayor of Shady Sands as you leave his town to wander the wastes of "Fallout".  It is appropriate for me since I live in a desert (Arizona) with the largest nuclear facility (Palo Verde) in the nation well within "irradiating distance".  The drugstores here sell "No-Rad" potassium pills, the RL version of the game's "Rad-X".  With any luck, I'll get to the point where I won't need a nightlight some day.  I'll just glow my way to the commode.  I might have picked something more Fettish, but I chose to be original instead.

I've changed my signature to something better check it out and look closely at the clone ;)

Which part? Holding a huge blaster with only one hand? Holding a baby? The fangs? :P Those are what I see that are abnormal.

I was on a bus, on the way to Williamsburg, VA, for a weeklong fieldtrip, and my good friend, MaryFaith, told me to write something smart. She wanted to see if I could write something that sounded smart, because, I'm usually very (as Kara-Chan put it) retarded. And, I did, I hope.
