And the Falcon was a Hamburger with a pickle hanging out.

Albiet the bigfoot legend is older than Chewie.

Yeah, GL had this dog (who's name was Indiana, btw) and it used to ride with him in the car and when they were sitting like that the dog was about as tall as he was. (meaning from George's waist up or something, you know, sitting down you're the same height) And so he considered his dog as a sort of co-pilot. So he used that idea for SW and made Chewie.

Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.

His dogs name was Indiana? XD That just wins. That really just wins.

Yeah, that was the "in-joke" from the last Indy movie.  Pretty cute.

Have you seen how tall that guy is! I've seen him in real life at some fair giving autographs. I wasn't into starwars at the time so I really didn't care

I find it quite believable that Chewbacca could be inspired by Big Foot. There is a resemblance with the height and fur coat. the only thing dog-like I can see about Chewbacca is his nose.

Chewbacca symbolizes the loyal sidekick, however, like a dog. Plus, George Lucas' dog was where he got the name Indiana from for Indiana Jones.

Hee hee, they should make a poster of Chewie running through the forest while looking at the camera....kind of blurry like the way they portray big foot on the National Enquirer.

They realy should, that would be great.

They would study the picture for a couple of years and announce that Bigfoot was more advanced that earlier predicted. HE now carries a bow-like weapon and wears what appears to be an ammo strap! Run for your lives, the Bigfoot is here to destroy mankind...he's armed and dangerous!!!   (or at least it would go something like that)
